Dead battery woes
Had an adverse experience recently. Have been driving the car daily and left car in uncovered parking lot. Came out and was unable to start the car. Temperature warning light on the gauge as well as PDK failure lights. Car would not turn over at all. Left the car a few hours to cool off and came back and no changes. Now this morning battery completely dead. Had to manually open door and still cannot unlock frunk after jumping the fuse jump leads. Now waiting for roadside to flatbed car to dealership

Burning Brakes
there was a recall on the Ground Strap Bolt to the chassis - it corrodes because of the wrong material the bolt was made of - which causes all kinds of issues until its replaced - my 2021 TTS needed a flatbed to the dealership

I have noticed when jumping the power to open the frunk from the fusebox that the frunk will open with the remote key button sometimes when it wont open from the trunk release button in the car. Just something to keep in mind for next time if you did not try that.

frunk would not unlock with key fob nor sill switch. Finally got towed to dealership. They put it on a lift and connected a real battery to the jump terminals on the fuse box and opened the frunk. Now they are charging the battery to see if it will hold charge. New battery being ordered. PDK will need to do a re-learn procedure.
I've spent 6 hours on this today:
1)Called roadside at 6am to get tow. 1st tow service kept pushing back arrival time then could not tow car bc no tow bolt. They advised me to call Porsche again.
2)Porsche roadside resubmitted call to same tow company. They gave me another estimated time of arrival then notified me they cannot tow the car call Porsche
3)I call dealership and they give me name of the tow service they recommend
4) I call recommended tow service and tell them to meet me and I will borrow tow bolt from dealer
5) I call Porsche roadside to tell them dealership referred me to recommended tow place. Porsche says they'll authorize new tow company
6) recommended tow service says they don't accept payment from Porsche - I have to pay out of pocket and submit for refund

WOW that sucks. It seems with these new batteries they just die, unlike the old acid batteries that usually gave you some notice before they died, with slow crank or low light output. I know of two lambo owners that when thru this in the last month

Wonder if carrying a Noco booster in car to open frunk and jump start car would work. I believe I’ve read that it will provide the necessary charge to bypass the BMS and allow battery charge.

My tech reprogrammed both the DME and the PDK modules. My dealership is mod friendly and as such did everything under warranty. I am getting new M Tuner files made for my car (as the new DME program has different coding than before (?)

Did the tuning or the ECU PDK have anything to do with this issue? Thinking for myself, stuff to watch out for that may have caused this... Preventative maintenance...
Thanks

Not sure but per the picture from prior shows the PDK was throwing an error about the programming. I did notice sometimes the PDK seemed to do a "double note" shift like it was engaging two gears simultaneously which felt unbalanced. Maybe this PDK update fixes it?

Hi, to any who have experianced this or want to avoid this type of thing in the future we make a product that can get you out of this emergency with ease and relative simplicity.
It is called the Antigravity Batteries "Clampless Harness Kit". Its a simple harness that connects to your battery then you can connect an Antigravity MiCRO-START Jump Starter to it and open the frunk OR start the Car easily.
The problem with trying to energize through the fuse box busbar is that it doesn't transmit enough current at times to energize the hood release on the car because the battery is dead and is taking the energy of the battery you connect to the busbar. It has I think a 18 awg wire there so not very good. So you need to go directly to the battery with a GOOD Jump Starter, that has a decent capacity and current connected to a thicker wire gauge to make sure the Cars system is energized, then it will easily pop the hood.
Our product can be found here to see the details >>>> https://antigravitybatteries.com/pro...s-msa10b-long/
A video to explain it below.

I don’t know why everyone doesn’t run their tender cables this way.
