Just to clarify, you're staying this will pass functional emissions testing, but will reverting back to the original ECU contents cause the checksum (the Calibration Verification Number (CVN)) to be legit? Or is there a count built into this that will cause a failure.

For those inquiring about smog checks and flashing back to stock. Our software allows flashing completely back to stock and will also report and verify that your CVN and CALID is stock.

Man...impressive.

Would you expect similar gains over stock with a TT as compared the gains seen with a TTS?

I keep going back and forth on whether I should order it as soon as I get the car or wait until break in is over to make sure that if the car has any issues from the factory they’re sorted out before I tune it.

Now we just need someone to figure out how to enable the full functionality of the Matrix LED lights here in the US.

The TT and TTS have different turbochargers, so power output will be different. We have not had a dyno session yet with the TT model so I don't have power numbers at this time to share, but the gains are expected to be large as well. We will release this information regarding the TT when it becomes available.

We've certainly had cars in the past tuned right off the dealer lots on delivery without issue, however we always suggest getting through the factory recommended break-in period first. This will seat the piston rings nicely and allow any engine components to properly bed.

plenty of debate on the matter but directly from the Porsche PEC drivers, they go easy the first hundred miles for all their track cars and then they are let loose in customer's hands and this included the TTS I drove back in May.

You'll hear different answers across the board, the best bet is to speak to your dealership contact you purchased the vehicle new from and they will advise you the factory recommendations. Depending on the Porsche model and engine you have, the break-in procedure may be different (ie GT3, Turbo, Carrera, Cayman).

for the 1% of people that will Pursue larger power gains.
- when will a 1000hp package be ready? Is it even possible with this platform/motor ?

in short, a 150+ MPH trap speed,
as of right now I have seen a max of 147.

Question for M-Engineering and anyone who has tuned the ECU so far. Are the stock tire sizes adequate for getting the extra power to the ground? The two things I get concerned about with a tune are traction and braking performance.
