GT3 992.2 Prices crashing? MSRP Coming?
Good luck!

That won’t happen. I wish it would, but it won’t.
MSRP is coming before end of year. Hurrah!!!!
I get it, everyone is comfortable with different things financially but I don't understand the obsession with a 10% price swing for a car you plan on having for several years...amortized over length of ownership it's not that significant. For many people at this level, a $30k ADM accounts to a small swing in their portfolio in a given day. To many, that's not worth waiting years for the car you want, passing on the "perfect" spec, etc...but for some I understand it's a meaningful financial hit (granted we also see many people "stretching" for these cars, which I would guess psychologically are many of the folks trying to convince themselves MSRP is coming).
Rennlist is not representative of the overall market, especially in large markets like yours (Bay Area) where many people are happy to drop a few extra thousand to get what they want. Reality is there are plenty of big fish out there that will stabilize things before these cars hit MSRP. But I'll be sure to check back in a few months and see how your prediction is doing...and if you bought a car yet.
I've been hearing that for 10 years...so many people "waiting" for MSRP and then sitting on the sidelines for years instead of driving the car they want.

In the Bay Area, there are many folks that are wondering whether they should be dropping $350k on a GT3. I'm a little fish but I hang out around some big fish and they are not feeling it anymore. All anecdotal so means nothing.

Early adopters always pay an ADM. It's not a need or a desire to pay it. Super happy that you can wait...hopefully, a car will be there when you are able to buy one.
Big fish love exclusivity. At current supply levels, there is no scarcity, there are fewer Civic Type Rs for sale. As MSRP creeps up, big fish will look for big fish cars.

Again hope is not a plan....keep dreaming for MSRP by yearend. If that were to happen, the stock market will have tanked and many buyers will be looking to live rather than pursue buying any GT3...
Of course, as you have stated the bigger fish that you hang out with....this will probably not be their situation.
End of criticisms, I have had mine since last July. I hope you will get yours whenever you will have reached price equilibrium between want and market pricing.

For the person saying the demand far outweighs the supply…In my experience when the ADM goes away the demand also magically disappears.
997.2 gt3
991.2 gt3
718 gt4rs
all these cars had adms early and then they disappeared and went into big discounts
