I believe I saw somewhere else that most of the 992.1 GT3s were produced in year 1 and year 2/3 were like 20-30% of the initial volume.
I believe the only real difference is that for the 992.2, the Touring came out at the same time as the Wing version so they are producing them at about 50-50 % thus far for 992.2, whereas on the .1 there were less Tourings as I believe they came out later. Someone will know more than i about this.
Except the % are wildly different considering how much more rare a 992.1 touring is compared to 992.1 winged.
Also we aren’t far enough into the production cycle to know if this is a heavy upfront production and then thinned out from there or if this is going to be sustained (or even increased!)
Time will tell. From what I see out there for 992.2 cars is pretty boring nothing special stuff. It will all be scooped up eventually at some price point but the offerings available just aren’t good so I’m not surprised inventory is increasing with the substantial .2 price increase, overall MSRP increases, much higher production numbers and very boring nothing special builds.

If you are not buying the vehicle to enjoy it, especially this model, you are investing your money on the wrong stuff.
$316,000 MSRP vs $397,500 with buyer commission. Driven 2,700 miles so it's trash to a collector.
Doesn't look like a soft market to me.
