Break-in period do's and don'ts on your GT 3/RS

EU OM has different/no break-in procedure than US.
Again litigious society in US.

Ever wonder why we don't break in the motors on our Cup cars? Same block, heads, crankshaft, pistons, rings, rods, cams, valves, springs....
Go ask an aircraft mechanic how they break in motors.

I just make sure the oil temp is fully hot before I run it hard, especially for the first few hundred miles. I have about 1800 miles on mine now, half of which are track and it hasn't moved at all on the oil level gauge. I'm happy with the break in. At 1750 miles I changed the oil and filter.

Not saying this is the only way, just that it was how AP indicated Factory cars are broken in at Flacht.
Many on this Forum, including myself have the opportunity to trade up to each new generation of GT3 on or before the warranty expiration. That said, some break their cars in more aggressively than others out of impatience or a simple lack of concern for post-warranty issues as they know they won’t be the car’s long-term custodian.
Simply stated, some owners have more mechanical sympathy than others…caveat emptor.
