992.2 GT3 Touring Allocations
#16
Covid car market is over except for few models including GT cars , but these are also drifting back to normal at a slow pace
so by the time 992.2 GT3 is released , I think ADM will be much lower on GT3 , even now they are lower on GT3RS which usually fetched more ADM that a GT3

It's fine if you don't believe me. You can check you local dealers to see what they're selling them for. If you do find one that is selling a less than 1 year old 911 for $20k under MSRP, please PM as I would like to replace my C2S, maybe with a vert or targa for daily driving at that price point
Are dealerships charities or businesses? You missed his point. The dealer gave him a fair trade in value for his C2 and C2S, to which I'm sure they then sold them for market value to someone else. That's how every car dealership on the planet operates. There is supposed to be a delta between trade in value and market value otherwise they cannot make money on used cars.
Good Porsche dealers still exist, I'm lucky to have one as well. It is interesting how much it upsets others that don't have a relationship with one, to which they then assume none can exist otherwise

Yup, exactly. BaT is a great tool for this, as you can see historicals and what is actually selling vs not selling and for how much.

I know the market is very different in Europe (and even Canada has much lower markups/prices).

There were mark-ups on GT cars in the years before COVID. There will be mark-ups in the years after. People seem to forget that while COVID inflated most car prices, GT cars were "hot" well before.

No I do not. But it is still hot currently, and is always hottest when a new GT product arrives. You are mistaken if you think 992.2 GT3 ADMs will be lower next year than a 992.1 GT3 is now (it's 3 years old and a new model is about to replace it...and they're still getting $50-75k over).

do dealers still have 992.1 touring allocation build slots in US?
QUOTE=PTS;19562177]There are still 992.1 Touring allocations selling for $75k over today...why would 992.2 Tourings be cheaper?[/QUOTE]

Most folks in the know seem to have heard Fall announcement (Oct but could be sooner) with orders opening for spring/summer 25' delivery. Those "in the know" being dealers and people with close relationships. The problem with forum information is it generally comes from three types of sources, and people generally don't share which bucket their "information" is coming from:
1) People actually in the know (dealers, people with OEM relationships)
2) People that just read some article or watched some video and repeat mostly inaccurate info
3) People that are sharing their opinion based on nothing (like the folks in this thread saying it is turbo or hybrid) but fail to mention they are purely guessing.
It's really hard to differentiate between what is what across those three online hence why I give less and less credibility to forums.
