True. I just was referring to the date and location as I didn’t follow this thread from the beginning.

Per the GM at a California Porsche dealership: "I only just got confirmation on Friday that the GT3 was a confirmed production unit for next year."

They'll only build .2GT3s in 2025? Come on, more stupid dealer bull crap.

Seems odd the road going .2 GT3 would be released before the .2 GT3 Cup (which is slotted for 2026 racing). Historically it's always been GT3 Cup, then GT3 street variant in all iterations for both entirely new generations and mid-cycle updates.

that’s not what he wrote. He’s claiming the dealers were told it would be available in CY ‘25. Nothing about how long the run would be.

Do you practice being cynical or does it just come naturally? According to Frank Wiesmann, Product Communications Head of Porsche Cars North America there will be no GT3 cars in 2024 or 2025.

I could be wrong as well, but...I interpret Frank Wiesmann's comment to infer that there will be no 992.2 GT3 DELIVERIES in '24 or '25, although my 2024 GTS Macan was delivered in late ’23. Possibly stating the obvious, the next generation of GT3s are likely to be model year 2026. Even for those of us who are Porsche shareholders with promised allocations, it’s a waiting game. Chill.

I'm not saying that's impossible but that would mean they're building 992.1 GT3RS cars at the same time they're building 992.2 GT3 cars. Sounds like a sh*tshow to me

Evidently, we're not as lucky in the US.

Frank Wisemann, Communications Head at PCNA (Porsche Cars North America), stated "For the 2025 model year, the 911 Turbo and Turbo S models, as well as the GT3 RS, are still available, along with the new 911 Carrera and 911 Carrera GTS."

Carpe viam!
