S/T Suspension Programming - GT3 update??
#106
Sure. You'll need to have two things. A power supply and a PIWIS (you can buy a clone). The PIWIS is running on a laptop which will need internet. @rnlst_log or whomever will then remotely log into your computer (which is running PIWIS and connected to your car via OBD dongle[apart of your PIWIS]) and then perform all the changes. Hope this helps.
how long does it take?

Firstly, awesome work guys! I'm loving my GT3T and it's not so much the impact of bumps but I find you have to really concentrate the whole time as the car really wants to follow bumps off the road. I've not experienced a car quite like it. Sounds like this is just the ticket to make it far more of a Touring car.
I'm in, that makes three
Does anyone in NorCal know a good shop where we can do this? And that has the right PIWIS and power?
(Aside, I see mention of unlocking the matrix headlights. I thought they were physically different lights, is that not the case?)
Let’s get NorCal going!

It seems to me that this mod can be done remotely. I am thinking what would be the logistics to setup something for a group in Chicago. I can buy the charger if someone doesn't already have one, but what are the PIWIS computer requirements. Is there a minimum version of PIWIS, and I am assuming it needs to be setup for Microsoft Remote Desktop. Is there anything else I am missing? Thanks in advance!

@Diablo Dude , @sensei_tts , @403portside sounds like there are four of us so far. I'll check with some friends but I think they have 991.2 not 992.1 (can't quite remember). I have heard good things about Alekshop but haven't actually used them. Am open to going elsewhere though.
@rnlst_log / @f4bones how much notice do you guys need once we get things arranged from our end (I'm wondering if this could be done in the next two weeks as I'm planning a long road trip for Monterey Car Week).

For group update, a Laptop kit is available to be shipped to your location for some amount of deposit.
You will then ship it back after the upload and get refunded.
The tool is configured for the purpose.

Great! Let's see if we could get 3-5 Chicago area 992 GT3 owners and start working out the details. Thanks!

this. this is the main reason im here, not so much the back and forth of opinions which is cool for the social part but...this reminds me of the older forum days where we really focused on the cars, mods and enabling others. kudo's to you three, thank you @f4bones @718 Spyder @rnlst_log
