Guess the real difference between this and the RT is the fact one still needs to apply the brake with this tool?

The need to apply limited braking force is exactly the same for these two tools. I have just been fully open on this in my video and showed how this can be achieved with a reverse clamp / door spreader.

Allow me to quote John from RT: "The RENNtorq tool requires only moderate pressure be applied to the brake pedal inside the car,"

RT vs NutCracker in a nutshell:

NutCracker handles higher torque and covers wide variety of wheels thanks to adjustable reaction arm offset.
RT is slightly more compact and quite a bit lighter.
... and not to state the obvious, but there's the difference in price.

BTW talking about the clamp for your brake pedal. This one from Amazon should work well for you folks over in the US. It is basically identical to the one i am using and showed in the video:

I was so excited for the discounted buy until i saw its only for the 1st 10... judging from the over 100 views of the product demo, its going to be really tight trying to be the first 10.

If we miss out on the 1st 10, is there a discount for early adopters?

While i cannot completely rule out some future sale, i truly believe, that NutCracker offers tremendous value even at its base price.

I also believe, that the first 10 early adopters would confirm the above in their reviews.

And hey, you can still definitely be one of them, there were quite a few views on the videos from people around me that gave me feedback before videos went public.

As we wait for the 18th, let me share two photos from a buddy of mine with 992 TTS.

His trusted tyre shop had a "breaker bar mishap" you can see in the photo. I would say this makes a solid point about torque multiplication (where the force applied at the center of the wheel gets negated by the reaction arm to an extent) as well as about the necessity of putting a PPF on your car. This was a very lucky PPF safe. Impact went through, but the paint is still ok.

Just couple more hours to go...

We launch the sale at 10 AM EDT tomorrow (18 May).

Here's the promised $300 discount code:

CRACKMYNUT

One-time-only offer for 10 early adopters. Code is valid for 1 order / 1 unit / 1 customer.

Once the initial batch of 10 units sells out, you can pre-order NutCracker right away (without a discount code), as 40 more units will become available in late May or early June.

Happy hunting!

Well, this discount CODE deal was certainly disappointing.
Ordered the Nutcracker at 10:00 am and the item was placed in my order basket.
Had auto-fill automatically insert my credit card info and shipping info. Hit the PAY BUTTON no later than 10:01 am and the discount on the first 10 units was gone.
This was a waste of my time.

I reckoned it wouldn't take long to sell out the first 10 units, but it didn't take more than 30 seconds.

I would like to thank everyone for their trust in our new product and I am truly sorry to anyone, who wanted to get the discounted one, but could not.

All NutCrackers sold now will ship no later than upcoming Tuesday. We will eagerly await first reviews.

Next batch ships in 2-3 weeks.

Thank you again for all your interest and support!

Can you publish a list of ideal tools that are required along with your multiplier eg. torque wrench etc to help out those new to CLs. Thx.

I understand your frustration and I am truly sorry, that you have had no luck. Especially knowing you have been interested from the very beginning.

Let me share this screenshot showing that the orders all indeed came in at 10:00 am EDT (despite being mostly in my language the time is apparent). It was basically all gone before I could click reload. The very first order that made it through didn't even use the discount code, just to make sure he makes it through fast enough.

Less then 3 hours later I can tell there are quite a few people left disappointed now.

It's not a nice feeling to have. Let's try to shake it off with a free shipping code (applicable to pre-ordered units that ship in 2-3 weeks) THISWENTNUTS.

You can use the following link to place order with this code:

https://nut-cracker.com/discount/thiswentnuts

In case of US orders this saves USD 60.

Here we go. I have picked all items on Amazon and am adding the links to the text. These are just suggestions, feel free to use any other tool matching the description below.

1)
Floor Jack Floor Jack

At least 2 ton capacity, low profile construction.

2)
1/2" (Expandable) Ratchet 1/2" (Expandable) Ratchet

This is exactly the size I am using in my videos. I case you're taking NutCracker with you on the road like I do, the expandable construction comes really handy as it fits really nicely in the glove box of your car.

NOTE: This ratchet may not provide enough leverage in case someone overtorqued your centerlock wheels before. In such case you would need a breaker bar with ratcheting head
like this one. like this one.
This would still be used in combination with NutCracker.

3)
1/2" Torque Wrench 1/2" Torque Wrench

Anything up from 89 ftlbs needed for this job. The linked one allows you to subtract one ftlb from the 90 ftlb scale, which is nice.

4)
Reverse Clamp Reverse Clamp

To use between drivers seat and brake pedal to apply moderate braking force with engine off.

Only needed to work solo on the front wheels.

5) Castrol Molub Alloy TA paste

To use for contact surfaces (as shown here). Can't find a link for the original Castrol in the US, but
this seems like a good replacement. this seems like a good replacement.

And that's all. Looking at how many items I've linked from Amazon, I should have probably arranged some affiliate program up front. :-))
