Interestingly enough, Ive never ever seen a Touring in the wild in the SF Bay Area. Not even at Luftgekuhlt in 2023. Mine was the only one.

Had them in my GT4. Been there, done that.

I laugh at these posts by the LWB crowd who claim how "comfortable" their seats are on anything over 90 minutes and their fat people jokes. Get real.

If you're built like a horse jockey I'm sure they're fine. For me even the adjustable Sabelt racing seats in my Viper ACR-E which are still more comfortable than the Porsche LWB and even they have only about a 2hr cruise tolerance lol. And that's with a 2" seat lowering kit so my long *** horse doesn't have me staring at the visor.

Im 6'1 and 180 lbs.
Was a D-1 hurdler in college in the Pac 10.

Anyone who thinks that LWB's are comfortable while your lower back is fully pinched while hitting one expansion joint after another on the freeway for more than an hour and a half must like torturing themselves.

Exactly lol. I'm 6'5" 235lbs and 11% BF... retired fat boy just addicted to fitness and cars. If I wanted my body to be abused I'd still be playing Open/ Elite Tournament racquetball getting paid to do it.l as a hobby The GT3 as a car as a whole is relatively tame and passive compared to much more raw cars out. To me the LWB negates the smooth nature of the enjoyment.

i have mentally come to grips that the sport seat still adhere to the GT ethos, it’s only when getting to the RS (ie GT4 RS) that I start really second guessing not getting the full monty

That's understandable.

Best part is the Sports seat can always be converted to LWB if desired, not the other way around.

You can 100% exchange LWBs for the 18s in theory because there've been NONE for sale in the used market. Just a little more work if you want the heated and memory.

Rumors are .2 will be NA and most likely right. But if hybrid and/or no manual... .1 owers are sitting on a lottery ticket.

Congrats! What ADM did you have to pay? Minimum in my area is 50K on a Touring unless you want to wait years.

You can laugh, however, I find them more comfy than the 18 ways. I truly do. Longs drives and all. THAT SAID, I wish I had ordered the Speedster with sofa seats....

what area of the country are you in? 50k, let alone for a Touring, beats anything I have come across by far

Well it depends on the ADM and depends on if the dealer discounts ADMs on future GT car purchases. If you are comfortable with the ADM get the car and enjoy it because if you want the .2GT3 you'll have a good trade chip to get one.

.2 will be NA with a small power bump for sure. Anyone with a 991.2 - 992.2 is sitting on a lottery ticket because after the 992.2, the party is over.
