Default 24 GT3 Allocation

Hello all,

I received a GT3 allocation expect to deliver in 2024 Q4. Does anyone know that 992.1 is still open for PTS?

Also started to think if waiting for a 992.2 variant is better than getting in to 992.1?

Any suggestion and feedback would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

only your dealer can tell you if there is PTS

I don't know about how it works where you are but assuming you'll get another allocation is is a little presumptuous unless your paying adm and just don't care

You're in the same boat I am. I got one of the "extra" allocations -- my car is set to finish production today.

PTS was not an option for my allocation, as it was an "extra" handed out to my dealer.

That said, you may want to have a convo with your dealer if simply "bumping back" to a 992.2 is even an option. There's a good chance there's already many 992.1 owners waiting on 992.2 and you'd be put back to the bottom to the queue. IMO, I was happy to take the .1.

Are you comfortable with potentially paying a 20%+ increase in MSRP?

@ PoorPorscheMan Dealer didn’t seem confident if they can get a PTS slot. They said they have check with "someone" and let me know.

I was among top few for the .2 variant. Dealership said that they will keep me on the list and still allow me to get .1. That gives me a somewhat relief.

Not sure what relationship you have with your dealer, but being on a "list" has been known to be literally meaningless.
The only thing that matters is having a V200 status.

If it's significantly a better car (mechanically/performance). Yes I would.

I have stores with both wing and touring allocations. Not a ton, but a few of my stores got some extras.

The one that just texted me saying 75k wing and 85k touring. I think they’ll help me out if I go to them with a real offer.
