Those are in amazingly good shape for having 15 heat cycles! Did you ensure you had an excellent track oriented alignment, and did you do anything to enhance longevity, such as having them ‘rest’ after the first heat cycle?

Good observation, yes I had them at COTA and ran them new for 4 laps and then let them sit for 16 hours or so before using them again the next day.

interesting they are Z06 tires that I put on my GT3RS, I decided not to track the Z06 after getting the RS and had these tires in the garage, you could not get the Cup2Rs for the RS 9 months ago and I wanted to give them a shot.

The wheel sizes on the new RS and Z06 are exactly the same, the Z06 tires are slightly wider both front and rear but just a touch shorter in diameter. I have been amazed at how the down force of the new RS makes the tires last a pretty long time. Front and rear camber are both about 2.5 degrees.

Really hope they fix the Transformers styling in the next gen.
They wont. Transformer styling became the American trend and is visible in every Chevy/Cadillac model. The market for these cars want over the top, rough and tough, unrefined styling. They dont like curvy cars as they consider them “feminine”. I am paraphrasing things I have heard first hand from my friends/people I know who live in various parts of the country. GM’s market research is right and they make a ton of money making their cars this way. In fact, I think they’ll make even more edges and scoops and things in C9.

Can't disagree. The irony is for all the talk of the GT3 being a driver's car, I see easily 15-20x the number of C8's on the road vs GT3's, so you have to ask yourself which one is the real driver's car.

Definitely like them pushing the envelop with the motor. Hopefully it gets Porsche to think seriously about their target HP and redline numbers for the 992 GT2 RS.
