But the AMG GT BS will always hold the lap record for the fastest production ICE vehicle.
Question will be if the 992 GT2 RS can best the AMG One's time of 6:35.183, which would mean the 992 GT2 RS would have be about at least 13 seconds faster than its 991 GT2 RS brethren.

I doubt it's faster as it wasn't designed for the track. Still would rather have a T.50 than almost anything on the planet

The T.50S is track-only (don't even think street legal). But I still think the T.50 (non-S) may beat the Black Series with far better power to weight ratio and very advanced aero (with an active fan contributing to downforce). And in the low-drag mode, it would rip down the Nordschleife straight.

I agree it's hideous but looks are subjective so not really a "con" so to speak.
I'm laughing at how American it is....heavy, ugly and globs of power. I do respect Chevy for building a car that's not crazy expensive that can compete with the top dogs but it's just so far from my cup of tea. Fortunately for car enthusiasts there are lots of flavors out there.
Pricing not released yet. Any guesses on price? $175k+?

You're asking how much faster a 1,064hp track oriented car will be than a 518hp track oriented car? Hopefully quite a bit. But isn't this competition for the 2RS not the 3RS?

Ok, I can laugh at that too, it's really American.
After watching the initial prices(over msrp) of the Z06, I think the ZR1 is going to sell for close to 300k(with DMU) at first. Which is absolutely insane.

Good thing consumables are half the price of Porsche because it's going to go through a lot of them.
Really hope they fix the Transformers styling in the next gen.

I'm not sure I see myself owning one of these but I love that it exists. If they figured out heat management, it should be a total beast.

The main cost is always tires, and I suspect it will go through tires even faster than GT2 RS because both weight and HP both increase wear.
