For whatever reason(s) there were quite a few rumors they weren't going to make a 2RS for the 992. One of those reasons being issues with the hybrid tech

Sure. But now they announced it internally so it is definite.

Do you have any jnfo for the speedster? Is it also confirmed? There is no internal info published yet - from what I personally know.

PDK likely? 3.6 engine likely? Questions, questions.

I'm sure a numbered speedster will be done towards the end of the 992.2 production. Again, Porsche would leave money on the table if they didn't build one.

I would think Manual for a Speedster (and 4.0L NA if it can pass regulations).

mild hybrid e-turbo power 850hp - and so even more aero as the 992 GT3 RS possible
if they bring the on the fly digital-chamber-control also with the GT2RS - it will get even more crazy.

I also have to say that another factor here is Porsche wanting to reclaim the fastest production car around Nurburgring just as it did before. I can't imagine the crazy time they can pull with the new car.

But the AMG GT BS will always hold the lap record for the fastest production ICE vehicle.

Question will be if the 992 GT2 RS can best the AMG One's time of 6:35.183, which would mean the 992 GT2 RS would have be about at least 13 seconds faster than its 991 GT2 RS brethren.
