I'm really hoping they bring the M5 Touring to the States, but it isn't sounding promising. It would be in the running to replace the RS6.

Ahhh, the old EV thing. Never dies around here.
I'm warming up to EV's as a daily. I am more than willing to daily an EV--I think they have great attributes towards that end. I'm just waiting a few more years.
Also, I actually enjoy gasoline. I like burning it. I don't care about Earth, frankly. I'd rather live in a dying world full of loud & supercool sports cars than a healthy world full of smug ****** driving BEV yawn-machines all day long.
Having said all that and all joking aside......................my real issue with EV's is the Government forcing them on us. You see, once that became a thing, I just HAD TO start hating them.
Ironically, I promise you that if some of the social justice States (Cali, EU, etc) drop the EV mandates, I will buy an EV the very next morning

Even used it for hurricane evac and it was the right call.
Disintegrates rear tires like they're play doh, but that's my own fault. Low key 0-60 in a Tesla is an E36 or E46 M3 at full blast, you tend to forget that.
Nobody even tries to race off the line. It's just so boring.
I'll have my gas guzzling revenge when I don't need practical commuting any longer.

Two years in to EV daily use and constantly resent it for being so unassailable, practically speaking.
Even used it for hurricane evac and it was the right call.

No offense to any Tesla owners, but I just want to see more variety, more options, more breadth in the EV market before I take the plunge. I"m just not into Teslas, I see like 100 of them per day now, they don't interest me.
My DD is a BMW M580i GC and I love this car, it's basically got the capabilities of a supercar from just a few years ago, and is beautiful and comfortable at the same time. When I eventually sell this thing, I'm hoping that there will be a deeper EV market, charging infrastructure has improved, and that perhaps I can buy my first DD EV at that point.

^ I think that sums up what might be my issue with EV's, at least in part. They took speed and, essentially, made it uneventful.

I may have an EV but I still run catless headers on some of my Porsches.

Having gone to Boca Chica, Tx where Space X is based amd the rockets are made you'll quickly see this isn't about a big corporate money grab. It's essentially a very well funded toy box that feeds his interests to make space ships and that just so happens to fill the void Obama created when he ever so ignorantly shutdown the space program and redirected Nasas focus to Muslim out reach programs...
