GT3RS Allocation Thread

I have had three 991 generation 3 RS
builds were low 200
current build is low 300 which is pushing it as far as pricing. That is 40 % more than 5 years ago 991.2
on top of that crazy 100 k ADM
3RS is a great car
but in the 450 k price range , there are a lot of better options

Rather buy a Ferrari

Ferrari to me is Sterile. Having drove an 812 Superfast it's ok. Beyond that just no lure to me personally. The SF90 was over played and the market spoke on it. The 812 Comp looks decent, but beyond that it's still an 812. The SP3 while most seek it and will offer alter sacrifices for it, to me is just one of those "tried too hard" kinda cars. Plus the rear end design kills the entire car.
Irony is the 812 I drove was traded in towards a GT40 and the owner already had a Touring. Soft spots for manuals I suppose.

the price went up by 40 % , so that is ok
but adding 100 K + ADM which it seems has become the norm is what makes the 3 RS over priced
I will take one at MSRP
unfortunately , during the Covid epidemic , more dealers shifted to ADM and my dealer is one of them

What competes with a 3RS at $330-350k? The only car that comes to mind in that ballpark that would be fun is the 750S. Beyond that I don't know of any competition. I love Ferrari and not a single current one excites me.

The Dodge Viper engineering team was recruited to assist AMG on the GT black series design... just saying.... lol.
STO was cool at first, then everyone and their cousin had one which in my book is automotive spam. Also a car the market spoke out on being to saturated. Frankly many specs were goofy as hell and the decals option was so out of place it was just a site to be avoided.
Both do have that cool factor for sure though as it's hard to turn away a good wing.

I’m simply stating why the price of the car is what it is. I dont have a problem with it. I actually think at $241k msrp, its a steal vs competition given the laptimes this thing provides. Ford’s mustang GTD starts $90k higher.

Does anyone have a confirmed build date in Q4 yet? I heard from the dealers they will build through Dec and delivery in 2025 Q1 to finish the .1 production. Some RS just got pushed from summer to fall which triggered a 2025 MY….

I have stores that have September and November build allocations.
