Pretty excited, just got the call from my dealer that I got my allocation. Unfortunatly, no PTS this year or next but I think I can manager without lol.
congrats - for me it's been a long wait - I'm hoping it's almost over - I can not wait to get mine and I'm sure you feel the same way.

very cool. This is an option and the dealer is pushing for me to do it. awesome to see it first hand.
FWIW, I absolutely recommend European delivery. I first did it with a 911 GTS in 2018 and then again with a 992 GT3 in 2021. Both were “bucket list” experiences (even the GT3 in NOVEMBER with snow tires mounted was a great experience).
Autobahn top speed runs, beautiful scenery, alpine passes (April - October), amazing European race tracks, even the Nurburgring for those that enjoy their experiences both exhilarating & terrifying at the same time.
Do dealers still cover the cost of ED or do they now pass it along to the buyer?
I have read posts on these forums that some dealers do and some don’t. My dealer has been 100% supportive, but it sounds like some dealers pass on the cost to the customers.
Should almost have a thread running for US guys doing EUR delivery. Us EUR GT3/RS guys could try and meet up for some multi regional fun days. Lots of cool stuff to do here, mountains, forrest, Ring, Spa, Zandvoort etc.
What’s the process for euro delivery on these now? Is it tough to get? Easier in an RS? I’ve never seriously considered it until now
I haven't gotten into too much of the details with them yet about it but in conversation they mentioned getting increased allocation if I did EU delivery.
As for them paying for it, I don't think so. I think its a $1500 cost for the porsche portion of the trip and I beleive travel is totally on the buyer as an added expense. Once you take delivery in EU, then do what ever travels you want, you drop the car off and they will ship it to the US for you.
Some concerns/questions I had was... do I want to drive my new car around EU without it being fully PPF'ed I have read where you can rent a porsche but then you are looking at another $400 ish a day for the rental. I agree its a total bucket list adventure and Im going to make it happen one way or another but just want to figure out the best logistics for my financially and my cars well being.
My order became frozen with no notice. It turns out I forgot to add the fire extinguisher. Any chance my rep can have that option added at the factory?

Im sure they can for something like that. Worse case, they can get it for you uninstalled which isn't a bad idea. I was thinking about asking them to not install it because it is a bit in the way for passengers.
I got an allocation 2 weeks ago, but the dealer just notified me racing yellow is not available. Anyone else with the same issue? What could be the reason behind it?
