i know, it kinda sucks, every time I get in my car I try it out and it happens all the time. I'm really hoping its a tune thing and improves with the run in, it could potentially be a glitch in the tune from factory they corrected later in production, I have a November 2021 production car. I will ask the dealer to do a complete reflash and see what happens.

If I am understanding OP correctly, it's almost like the transmission is stuck between gears (either from the PDK-S programming or the MT) for a split second, and when you hit the throttle there's nothing for the engine to "catch" on to.
PDK here, everything is perfect on my end 😀

am I missing something here? I can’t find the auto blip function. I know it activates on sport mode but I can’t find the actual function.

Do not think you can activate it in Normal mode setting only sport and track.

Press the little button in the center of the rotary **** on the steering wheel to permanently adjust Sport and Track modes to custom functions…

thanks. I figured that out after the fact. Went in garage and played around with it for a few. I remembered seeing the option in the throttle house video so I was pretty lost in trying to figure it out.

Here’s a screenshot from that video. Canadian car, so maybe that’s the difference.

You may want to turn off rev matching in sport. Then try downshifting in sport see if you still get the throttle delay? I haven’t tried it but maybe it’s just something tied into the normal throttle setting? Carl

Same in Sport mode for me. 24 Sep 2022 completion date.

Still feels like a pedal travel issue to me, like the pedal is somehow remapped–or maybe related to the revs dropping so fast. Works awesome with auto-blip on.

Since it’s an automatic, would you buy my car for under msrp?

I have never had this happen to me; I can blip the throttle myself just fine on downshift with autoblip off in Sport. Engine responds instantly to that? If I'm not quick enough the revs fall down. Strange.

When was you car built? If the revs fall, how much throttle is required to get a good blip?
