Throttle response delay on 6MT
#121
same as mine. i will say, it tends to do it only if i let the clutch out slower than a clutch release when upshifting. so only in circumstances with a slower need like braking and then needing to slowly move forward. in those situations one would use less throttle and perhaps release the clutch a little slower than an upshift. dealer had no solution for it.

Is there a really good video of this?
I have 8k+ miles on my car and have never experienced this.

Have not seen any video of this, and im not sure how you film it either.
It delays for about 0.5 to 1 second, and whats weird is that accelerator does nothing as well, it holds at a certain RPM.
And if you try to press the accelerator a bit, trying to figure out whats going on, and the delay stops, you fly off!....
Really hard to replicate for me.
But you kinda know when it happens, and either clutch back in to stop it, or just ride it out.

EDIT : , forgot to add. Only happens when you are pottering around. If you are driving it like you should, It never happens.

same for me. only happens in situations where I am going slow for traffic or something similar. I have not completely tested it, but I am fairly certain it only happens in normal mode.

That is what happens to me for sure. Slow, casual shifts down and the blip doesn’t work (auto or even with auto off) and the car stumbled before it will go into gear and engage at the right engine speed.
Agreed that if you drive it hard, Auto Blip doesn’t seem to miss! Still weird to hear it on up shifts….

I have tried clutching in, nothing works except riding it out.

Same with me it only does it if I’m down shifting while I’m going really slow like from 3rd to 2nd at 30 miles an hour.
Just out a habit I always rev match on downshifts otherwise I wouldn’t notice it.
Downshifting at higher RPMs I don’t notice it I can rev match including double clutch downshifts.
