to OP. I know EXACTLY what u describe.
it's not related to RPM
got hard
see red light.
slow donw, (this has nothign to do with blipping, clip and rev matching on the donw shift is not the issue)
red light turns green
hard on throttle , car wont responded.
if anyone drove carburetor cars. it does the same...
this happens on my 992gt3 very often. but I do use throttle like on off switch.
if I applied throttle slower, then no issue.
OH, regardless of how fast or abrupt yo apply throttle, after you slow down. subject issue doest happen all the time. maybe 10% time

Well, I guess I’m glad I’m. It the only one, I’ll have them reflash the ecu when my run in is complete to see if it makes a difference, it must be a software issue.

So this is an issue on every 6 speed and just being brought up now? hmm??

I think the same thing can happen on a PDK-S.
If I am understanding OP correctly, it's almost like the transmission is stuck between gears (either from the PDK-S programming or the MT) for a split second, and when you hit the throttle there's nothing for the engine to "catch" on to.

No, I think you are misunderstanding whats happening. When driving manual, if you need to drop into a lower gear, you have to rev match the motor speed to wheel speed, otherwise it will be a very hard down shift and over time will wear the car must faster. Say I am in third and cruising and I want to drop down to 2nd, I clutch in, shift down to 2nd and blip the throttle pedal to get the engine speed up to be in the correct rev speed and the engine does not respond to my input. I have three cars I regularly drive, all are manual, my other cars do not do this. I have owned mulitple porsches in the past, 997.2 4S, 991.1 4S, 981 GT4, 997.2 GT3, all of which were also manual. None of my other cars have done this and so I know its not user error.

I never plan to use auto blip, so this is pretty devastating to hear this is normal..

Its a shame, Metzger motors were great to heel toe and rev-matching was telepathic.

damn. I paid a visit to my dealership early on thinking it was something that would be fixed with the run in service but maybe not. The tech told me that Porsche does not want us to turn off auto blip, I would assume this could be true to help preserve the motor and transmission. The flywheel is crazy light, the tach needle drops very quickly in between shifts and if you are not shifting rather quick the auto rev match also blips up the throttle on up shifts. I have noticed that if I turn auto blip off, I find myself racing against the motor to shift and clutch out before revs fall below where they need to be.
