I’m on a boat. This was really quick. From production start to entry port is going to be 30 days.

Mat Watson and Sam on S/T vs RS. The ending is pretty funny.

Took about 4 months alter production. Yes, I’m in Dallas.

No idea what the holdup is… doesn’t seem to be a rhyme or reason. Original production completion date was 6/30 (started 6/20), I got the finished photos, and then changed from 6/30 > 7/4 > now 10/23… so confused and don’t mind waiting but keep having to reschedule PPF, transportation to PPF, and exhaust.

Lake Geneva had a few on the boat , was anyone’s car on that boat ? The Dates are just guesstimate at this point , your car might be on a boat just hadn’t updated yet , that’s what happened to me .

I’m sorry that is happening to your car, something similar happened with my gt3. Channel your inner stoic, you will get the car eventually and once you do you will forget about the delay.

I am waiting for a spyder rs part from the factory and my car has been sitting without a bumper for 2 months during peak convertible season. I’ve been given no eta. At least your cash is still in the bank earning 5%

I’m not sure if I’m missing a bumper but my RS Spyder has been in production since April

Just received an update on TYD!!
My car was stuck at 27th August production and the date passed without it starting. It has just changed to 10th September production (Today!)
Those with very recent builds, has your car actually made it through production yet?

Thanks man! I have no doubt that the delay will be a distant memory instantly upon receiving my car, I’m legit getting my dream car, and it’s very, very hard to knock me off this cloud.

I do wish there was some more (any actually) visibility into what the delays are about though… I got the photos essentially showing my car completed on 6/25… so is it that they found a major issue upon inspection?

I mean, your S/T build started 8/23 (2 months after mine) and is now done? Congrats to you, truly my man, but what was the difference? We both have Heritage interiors, so my theory that it was a Heritage interior piece that I just couldn’t see from the factory progress photos is now debunked…

Just confused, and with such a hefty price tag, I think some communication isn’t too much to expect - am I off-base here? Perhaps hiring a full-time professional solely to be a liaison between the factory floor and the customer. Maybe limited to instances when a build doesn’t progress as standard, or if it’s delayed more than X times or X days (30+?) would be easy enough, no?

I hope your SRS bumper arrives yesterday, and your ETA is today🤞🏽

My production start date was August 19th. It came and went, still hasn't updated. What did update was manufacturing process is complete on 10/29, so I'm assuming my production will start mid October?

My delivery date (range) bumped 2 months (February 7th).

That sounds about right but who knows, it's such a frustrating system.

In all the excitement of getting a 'Production Started' update, i contacted my dealer to ask what he can see, and he says nothing has changed since i asked a week ago! ie. Production hasn't started yet.
I would have thought the dealer system would be at least as accurate (if not more) than TYD?!

EDIT: Dealer just called to say the cars status is now:

10th September Body Shop V260

19th September Completion V300 CP8

My car is completed and on the way. Should have it 1st or 2nd week of October.

on another note, I had someone tell me their S/T is Feb 2025 production. Is this possible? I thought they were all done by the end of this year.
