Just finishing break in. Now Ive had the opportunity to take it through many of my favourite roads I can really appreciate the differences between the 991 GT3, Speedster, 992 GT3, etc. I put over 20k on those cars, all manuals.
Many small differences do equal a overall lighter and more responsive car. Best car I've driven for my needs.
Going to track this weekend for that comparison, as Ive taken all the others to the track as well. I know it’s not a “track car” but it’s the experience Im after.
The blue and white wheels glow in the sun. Im still pinching myself. I hope the people waiting patiently get their cars soon and enjoy in good health.
Congrats. How’s the suspension? Just softer or “better” in regular roads and uneven surfaces, or also less worrisome that allows you to enjoy it more on the streets?
@Bubba Wibs Great blue and white combo color, very sharp and not common on a ST.
A ST is made for track, no different than GT3 Touring, just might not look for the 1/10 of a second, but so enjoyable to drive with the manual. No trying it on a track is missing part of it. Getting close to 20k mi with my 991 Touring and enjoy all experience: weekend touring, spirit driving, mountains driving, track days, providing so much enjoyment in all conditions.

I think if you are pushing the car on higher speed tracks the lack of rear aero might be a bit concerning....

Thanks GT3. The suspension is better overall as it doesn’t tram and dip into all the road imperfections yet allows incredible feeling and feedback through the wheel. I thought the speedster was a little soft, this is different where it’s more comfortable but also athletic.

I totally agree, this car is built to enjoy everywhere and no better place to really ring it out then a controlled environment. Our local track isn’t very long and it’s technical so should be perfect for lots of fun.
Appreciate your feedback.
