Looks good. 👍 Would be interested. 😊

If so, I would want it in yellow to match the yellow stitching on the steering wheel or a shade of green to match the tachometer/gauges.

A heads up, the S/T doesn’t have PDK, it’s manual only, so no paddles, and no mode selector, so no button there either.

wishing you success on your idea, but the S/T probably wouldn’t be the model to aim for.

Yes, it’s not a direct comparison and it’s also unfair, but closest would be a 991 touring to a 992,

The issue with trying to explain a driving feeling to those that haven’t experienced either or one is preconceived notions and past memories influenced by external factors. Basically we make up what we believe memories are good or bad.

Now my personal issue with comparing the R to the ST is that the 991.1 never had a touring and the R was super special in the sense that the suspension and engine was then the basis for the 991.2 touring. Also depends if the particular R you drive had the LWF, as an option.

I’ll say this. The ST felt very light to me it wasn’t just the LWF, the whole car dynamics felt like it was a much smaller car, almost 997 in size. It was weird to say the least. I think if comparing it to an R or even a 4.0 is unfair because it’s not those things it’s something different and just as equally special and important in Porsche’s history.

Hahahaha- does the ST replace the R as far as driving dynamics is concerned.

For the ultimate 2 car modern 911 garage, is :

997 4.0RS + ST preferable to
997 4.0RS+ 991R ?

The 2.8 is about the most desirable 911 model ever made (much more valuable than 2.7)
