Default Does anyone own a centerlock Torque Wrench?

My dealer is just over 1.5 hours away, so when I need to change tires it seems like it will be pretty inconvenient to make that drive. Just curious how many of you have the very expensive torque wrench to do the job?
Also, I wonder if it's worth taking a chance with a shop getting the tires off without scratching the wheels.

Unfortunately, the best and best price aren't very well aligned in this case

There are lots of options. I went with the Precision Instruments and it has worked well for me that includes a pretty robust wrench and breaker combo (I went with extension on the breaker).
Precision Instruments C4D600F36H 3/4 DRIVE TORQUE WRENCH WITH RATCHETING BREAKER BAR COMBINAT | Tool Discounter

Adaptor to lenghten breaker:
Precision Instruments® A10C4D600F - 3/4" Drive Torque Bar Adapter - TOOLSiD.com

Best torque wrench and expensive is the Stahlwille and you can use for breaker bar too (puts no load on the measuring part when loosening):

Part #50181100 for huge wrench and #58250100 for ratcheting 3/4" insert tool (total cost close to $2k)
This place in Italy has relatively good prices and fast shipping: https://www.misterworker.com/en

Renntorq makes a nice compact solution for lots of money
RENNtorq center lock tool V2 | Renntorq, llc (square.site)

and there is an electric solution for much more than that:
HYTORC Centerlock Torque Gun | Obsessed Garage

Both of the above require that you maintain the centerbolts well, or you'll also need a huge 3/4" breaker bar to loosen occasionally.

Here's the full Stahlwille catalog (torque tools from page 187):

I bought a generic torque wrench for about $200 and the Rennlist alignment tool - a local tire shop was happy to learn how to remove and replace the wheels (PCCB) - we all ended up happy 😃 No need to buy the Porsche branded stuff!

I really need to buy a wrench, wheel guide alignment tool, and lifting mount pad this winter to get ready for the spring driving season. Plus, I still want to remove the wheels and ceramic coat (Optimum Gloss Coat) the barrels and calipers to aid clean-ups.

That one doesn't include a breaker bar (and can torque in both directions which is not desirable in this case). So if this one is otherwise good, make sure to buy a large ratcheting 3/4" breaker bar as well.

Wouldn't you need a break bar to get it off in the first place? Sill unsure of that and what the wheel alignment tool is.

Some torque wrenches can be also used as a breaker bar without damage (like the German Stahlwille). You want a very long breaker bar or torque wrench (if being used as breaker bar). I use the Precision Instruments breaker bar with the available extra extension that makes it around 5 ft long. If the internals of the bolt are not frequently well lubricated, it can take over 1,000 ft-lbs to break loose on occasion. This means you need at least a 5 ft bar if you weigh 200 pounds.

Wheel alignment tool is just a delrin piece that screws into the center threads when the bolt is removed and allows you to slide the wheel off without risk of damaging the PCCB rotors. It does tend to make a mess with all the aluminum paste, so I choose not to use one most of the time (I have iron rotors).

@GrantG Any advise for those that want the full setup for the best price since you seem to know exactly what you're talking about?

Here is a pic of Grant changing wheels. As you can see he doesn't weigh much and is using a < 5 ft bar..
