Can’t believe this car has had 3 owners with barely over 1k miles. Great PTS spec.

I have (1) 992 GT3 production slot left to offer before 992.2 as a brokerage service and not as a new car dealer. There are brokerage fees involved

i know its crazy. i am working with a dealer who got a GT3 Touring 22 with 600 miles and its nice, really nice. they wanted $289K but i now we are ~ $260K. full cpo. its well equipped and nearly how i would have build it if had my allocation slot. i just don't know if i can stomach the overage ... ive spent months on this forum saying its a horrible thing to do. here i am considering it.
what we do for a car. crazy.

my other thought is to find a 997 or 991 GT3 for ~ $125K that i can rip around the track. i know not the same thing, not at all but still way easier to stomach.

i don't know ... i am literally on the fence. i understand what you are saying ... i look at the photos and i get it. but i think they are all WAY over priced. porches dealers inventory is rising and i don't know what a 992 Touring is going to plateau at. if wait a month or pass will they go down $20K, ,$30K or up $50K? the market changes daily and while i am not buying to resell, it its still something i consider.

It also just doesnt seem that dynamic, cars are 250-350 and don't seem to fluctuate (and i'm not cosigning the practice just observing). you can map out year/mileage/pts on either a wing or touring, and 9 times out of 10 every new listing lands within that paradigm. you're going to keep waiting and keep expecting that unicorn and if/when it comes you may see it for 5-10 less than the current and established pricing model. i just can't tell you if waiting for that perceived discount or true-up is worth it.

I'm not getting any younger and didn't want to keep waiting. Once I make a purchase I forget about the money and enjoy the purchase. We built a house last year and have a bunch of things we will not get any return on but I will enjoy them for years to come. Kids may get a little less, oh well they can deal with that. I told them they may get nothing but they will never have to pay my bills.

40-60 over is going rate for touring today with low mileage etc. I’m not sure if we’ve seen better than that since launch of 992.
we are entering a period where there will be no new gt3s available and although dealer inventory is going “up” supply of gt3s will be stagnant until 992.2. My thought process is if you like the car buy it now or you wait until 992.2. Which means the same process restarts. At that point, you may find 992.1s for slightly cheaper or have to fight for an allocation (plus adm maybe). I jumped into a pts touring recently (came from a winged) and it was worth the net overage although I was near the bottom end of the over range and I have ZERO regrets. I figure if I like the .2 I won’t lose a crazy amount. But there’s a good chance that with msrp increase and general changes to the .2 and potential for limited na 4.0 engines I may not even get an allocation. Those factors made it an even easier decision for me.
