Right? The 991.2 GT3 first year model was 2018, 992.1 first was 2022 and you can surely bet the 992.2 won’t roll out til 2026, 4 year spans, pretty simple. So 2026 it is for 992.2 GT3.
And for anyone buying: I took my 992 GT3 to Chuckwalla and I am just speechless. The balance and power is beyond anything I have ever felt. Car is totally stock, has Cup2 tires with 220tw and I did a 1:58, but having issues with few corners, so once I get that, should be 1:55 easily. The double wishbone is insane, epic, the tire wear is so beyond even across the tire, it’s mind blowing. I was gonna sell my gt3, but I decided to keep it. Car is just special.
And all those yahoos who say it’s too digital, it’s too big, etc, they have absolutely no clue. I don’t even see the display, I mean who’s focused on something that lame? The car is meant to be tracked, enjoy the car.

Given that 992.1 has already run three model years I wonder there might be no gap?

Not sure if that is a fair comparison, we are talking about the same generation here as opposed to two completely different generations. There was only one model year gap (2017) between 991.1 and 991.2.

GTS will be hybrid

Man this thread got derailed by medical talk.. so I guess I'll add to that! I'm a chair of cardiac surgeon and director of the cardiac service line for a huge medical group that serves millions of people. These are my observations with some relevance to the discussion:
-Addiction/abuse is a problem. People don't realize the stress doctors and med professionals endure in general. It is all consuming and tears their home life apart. And especially now with influencer pseudo-docs telling people docs don't know what they're talking about, the prestige and honor that used to prop the feel good idea of being a doctor is slowly eroding. When my friends tell me they respect what I do.. it helps a lot. So if you have a doctor friend, tell them you appreciate them. It matters.
-Medical care is expensive for many reasons but also because of ADM equivalent... overcharging and markups. It is rampant. A famous university charges 250k to health insurance companies for heart donor retrievals.. it costs 72k. But they get away with it because of their name. The number of consultants that see a patient who comes into the hospital is staggering. Post cardiac surgery? Cardiologist volunteers to see the patient. Of course surgeon won't say no - the cardiologist won't refer to them anymore if they don't refer that to the cardiologist.
-I can't stand watching medical shows... and general discussion of medicine on the internets in car forums. Why? I'm trying to escape that stress. And then I read this thread lol.

I for one respect and appreciate what all of the good professionals do...doctors, NPs, nurses, pharmacists, etc as I've done through a few surgeries myself. My gf is a newer RN and I hear about the kind of stress that her and her fellow nurses go through so selling/buying homes for clients seems like a breeze.

Just imagine what the annual profits of the carriers would be had they not be paying the inflated rates. 2-3x higher.

I'm a trauma surgeon. I avoid medical forums for a reason, damn. I will say No better stress relief than smiles per mile in the 3RS (close second is the gym). Drugs are over rated. My therapist agrees with all my car purchases 😂
