992 GT3 Cars For Sale

Very unlikely that Porsche is going to switch the GT3 to a hybrid drivetrain in the middle of the 992 generation. If anything, we may see something like a Turbo S E-Hybrid.

Will be interesting to see how fast (or slow) some of these cars move. I can see buyers in South Florida, LA, and Bay Area biting on some of these, not so sure about places like Ohio and Austin. I know a year from now we'll probably see more than a few cars that have traded hands 3 or more times.

This one was posted earlier on this thread. Ends in 3 days. First one on an auction site so a good price marker at auction end.

No matter where it winds up, it will either be a good buy or look at that idiot

44 on cars.com. Expect to see over 100 by the spring. Should help prices. The longer they sit better chances at negotiating. Patience is key.

the sweet spot got buying seems to always be a year and a half after the .2 comes out..
this whole inflation thing could throw a wrench in everything

How many of these 44 cars are actually for sale vs auto-populated by dealers?

So how I’ve seen this work since 2004 is this. Mad rush, little slow down, .2 comes out, .1 drops, end of .2 slow down again, the new new and the .2 rises back up.

Different times now, but as long as they crank them out you should be able to negotiate a good deal after that amount of time. At least I would hope so.
I’m already first on the list for a 992.2 locally at a dealer who didn’t do ADM’s until now. I’m skipping this gen unless a unicorn happens to show itself, but I really want an air cooled to hold me over till then.

Wonder how many of the 992s for sale right now are being flipped by people who were saying 'I'm gonna track the **** out of that bitch when I get it...' just a short time ago on the Interwebs...

Every committed/sold car comes into the dealership's system and will appear to the outside person as a car available for sale. It's not. Then the websites like AutoTrader scrub the dealership sites and list them again for sale. They're not.

Exactly. It's the Porsche version of fake news.

For example my car was in at the dealership on Tuesday October 21nd. I was not able to get back into town with my wife to pick up the car until Friday the 24th. The car was listed in the dealership's inventory on their website. They had over 40 phone calls in those 3 days to buy my car.
