That is a nice looking car but something is off on the MSRP as I only had about $10k less in options in on my 2022 Touring and my MSRP was $213ish.

I thought the MSRP bump happened late on the 22's which this one has listed.

Really? My 2022 allocation came Nov 2021 and I didn't get my car until Nov 2022.

It’s CAD, not USD.

Thinking it is because it is a Canadian car and options list is in CAD. It is no where near a USD 243k build.

Default Newbie - Buying 992 GT3 - Looking for advice

Hey all. Long time follower and watcher from the outside. Been looking to purchase a 992 GT3 for sometime now. I finally came across a spec and price point I feel comfortable with. I’m located in NY and car is in FL. Dealer is willing to let me do a PPI nearby. Below is the original sticker and mileage is roughly 680. I was able to secure the deal with a deposit at 257K plus 1K in dealer fees.

Really looking to understand if this is a good deal or should wait till the spring / summer and hope for prices to soften even further.

I have a similar sticker PTS Signal Yellow 2022 Car on the table for the same exact price, about $39K over, and 950 Miles. It also is private party which in my area means no Sales Tax. Even with that I am not sold it is an "amazing" deal. On your end, $39K over for a non-PTS car does not seem like an "amazing "deal. There will be plenty of Chalk GT3s out there, likely for less in the future... Just my two cents.

100% can finance a Canadian car brought to the States. The issue is you need a title and for that it needs to have been registered in the USA.

So financing one already here, no problem. Trying to finance an out of country car is an issue.

What I’ve seen is people pay cash, bring the car in, register it, get the title and then refinance it to get the cash back out of the car.

Well Spec'd car and $40 over isnt the best or the worst. So, my best advice is, if the car is really YOU, the $10K delta between this deal and a "great" deal isnt worth waiting until Spring to find IT. If, instead, you like chalk but really want GT Silver or something else, don't buy it in fear there wont be any to buy in the Spring.

Eat the sandwich, life is too short!! Translation; buy the car, it’s your life and no one elses

well said, thanks so much for the push! Car is the perfect spec for me. Sounds like I’m going to pull the trigger. Will keep you all posted once this deal is wrapped up on my first Porsche!

Price is fair. It looks like its specced very nicely and if its what you are looking for I would squeeze the trigger.

Yours will go in a flash, just wish it was the right time for me given you're about 15 minutes away.
