Back on February 5th, I did a Google search for Mobil 1 ESP X3 0W-40 and found a link to a company in Missouri (EVO Supply Group) (I have no affiliation) that had it available to order. I ordered 6 quarts to have some on hand for topping off my 2020 C2S and my 2022 GT3 if need be. I got an order acknowledgement on the same day I placed the order and then didn't hear anything else. Their website just showed the order as pending.

Well, to my pleasant surprise, the 6 quarts just got delivered today.

FYI, you can order ESP X3 (C40 approved) from AutoZone. Free shipping and currently 20% off >$120 (code DEAL4APRIL).

There's some confusion with labeling and inventory but if you order the following part number, you'll get the correct oil (I did within 3 days w/ free shipping).
Part Number: 124798

I think the part numbers have changed, but think the filters are the same (991.2 filter number has been superseded to one on 992).

it does look similar to the 991.2. I still have a bunch so I used it.

the 991.1 to 991.2 filter was different (ie, looked different).

thx

So, just to give my experience.

I let everything drain for 1hr. Filter out, both plugs out, I had to put in exacrly 5quarts to get 1 bar below max.

also, the drain plug fits a 10mm triple square.

Any thoughts on which scanner to buy to reset the maintenance light? I know our cars haven't reached the first service interval yet and we are just discussing early oil changes. My DIY oil changes are coming up on my other Porsches and I only want to get one scanner to do all of them. Not sure which one will work on the GT3. I've heard mixed reviews of the icarsoft V 3.0 POR. Some claim that it doesn't work on 992s even though the OEM claims that it does. I'm not looking to spend $1200 for some of the more advanced ones.

Interesting - I needed a bit less oil (just over 4 Liters) and my drain plug was a 9mm triple square XZN

I needed 4.75 quarts to hit the second line from the top.

That's just under 4.5 liters, so I guess we're on the same page

Ja. All the docs are in liters so always key to convert before dumping in the oil.
