Shipping schedule Emden - USA
#2882
Same thing just happened with my car on Wolfsburg -- it went from Davisville to Tuxpan rather than as scheduled to Freeport, and got to Freeport about a week late last Friday. It's been anchored in the harbor since. Seems like there may be some congestion at Freeport?

Unfortunately my SA hasn't been any help beyond what I've been able to find myself through rummaging the forums for extra details (like using vessel finder and getting shipping schedules). In TYD my eta for delivery is 5/21 so I'm going to assume it gets on a truck hopefully 2-3 days before which would put it at leaving JAXPORT around this Friday 5/17. I'm assuming a car like a 3RS and maybe a handful of other P-cars get put on "special" covered carrier trucks and aren't put on the standard haulers that the rest of the SUV/PCARs get loaded on to for mass transit so I'm wondering if it's a luck of the draw to get one of these "specialty" transports in a quick turnaround. Assuming my car goes on a special hauler, I'm guessing it will have several stops to make along the route to make other deliveries so it wouldn't be as fast to deliver cars that are all destined to the same dealer.
This car was supposed to be a european delivery but it switched to US delivery when the Euro delivery timeframes got backed up so I told my SA to not unwrap the car once it arrives because I'd like to be the one to unwrap all the protective material off... then they can do all the PDI stuff.

Here's a new twist to those who have a car waiting in Emden for a boat to JAX.
I got a message that my car left Emden yesterday, but there was no boat due to leave yesterday on the PWL schedule.
After some sleuthing, apparently a car carrier has been added, it is LAKE TAUPO which id heading directly to JAX. It's the one my car is supposed to be on. This may also apply to others on this forum.
ETA is May 29

Anyone's cars in Jax that came in on the SFL Composer on 5/10 get a notification that their car is on it's way to their dealer yet...? I talked to the GM at my Porsche store yesterday and he told me he's waiting on two other Macan's to clear the port checks before all the cars to his store are cleared for transport... I was hoping my car would be in motion today but nothing so I'm guessing it's gonna be an extra few days now.

Has anyone cleared through Freeport lately? My car has been there 10 days and no movement. Curious if others got through quicker or if this is normal. Ship sat outside port for 3 days so I'm guessing it's just backed up.
