Keep us advised on this tread if it goes out today. TBH - the car still "belongs" to Porsche mothership. Until PCNA gets it there is nothing that your SA or even PCNA can do about it.

Here is the article I'm referring to.

Sorry its not APA or MLA formatted..
That's an absolutely BRUTAL article for Porsche and VW.
Especially given that shipping rates have literally collapsed this year.
Down 85% from the peak. Anyone that has been reading the WSJ is clearly aware of this.

I have found reports of VW not schedule enough container ships. Also VW port lot usually houses 6,000 cars, articles state they are 4x currently and can not ship cars First in First out as they are packed in too tightly.

It doesn't add up, Sales advisor doesn't communicate with me. I have to reach out to him and get a "we cant do anything about it" blow off answer.

Missed 2 ships already. My GT4 according to TYD will leave the port today. I am not hopeful and most likely am looking at the 3rd missed ship date.

Original delivery was stated to be 5/5, TYD shows 7/28 (if shipped today)...
I'm not buying the idea that cars are stuck in the back so first-in-first-out won't work.
They lots are designed to allow them to move any car out in just about any order they want.

Correct, when the lots are not at 4x compacity that is.

The old adage... The hunt is better than the kill. Certainly applies to my experience with Porsche. Not sure if it is better but I do like all stages of the experience to acquire a new Porsche...

1. Rabbit hole research to configure
2. Anticipation for the delivery
3. Post delivery bliss

It is during these last hours I realize what a freak I am. How many times a day do I refresh the SIEM CICERO tracking map... https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais...el:SIEM_CICERO

Supposed to be in Halifax Canada today the 17th and then Baltimore on the 24th.

Staff at Halifax Autoport don't work weekends. My car should get unloaded early Monday morning (19th). It's scheduled to stay at port for only 6 hours.

Even at 4x capacity, the lots are designed to be able to move any car (or a group of cars) out at any time. It's not a traffic jam. Each car has a destination code (obviously) and they need to pull cars for the particular destinations for a given ship.

It is possible that your car was held at port while waiting for some part. The factory only has so much parking and it is easier to move the car to the port and finish some production issues at the port.

Does anyone have the updated export schedule? I tried pulling it up from the website but the PDF shows old dates for some reason.

But if TYD is correct with the 28th, then I would assume our cars will be on the Siem Confucius that arrives in Jacksonville FL 18th - plus 2 days to Halifax Canada - plus 8 days back to Emden will put it right at 6/28. Anyway no matter when car arrives in the USA we will all be sitting around and praying EPA passes this new engine sooner than later. I put a link below to track that as well. Look in Light trucks. I was told that report is updated just once a month. Last update was 2 1/2 weeks ago

Thank you for the links. I'll keep an eye on both of the those ships. At this point, I think a July 20 delivery to the dealer is very, very optimistic. We'll see.

This is what my Sales Advisor said " There’s a shore man shortage that load cars on vessels and will see if this is the case with this car."

My car was pushed back to ship on 7/3. It will be sitting in the port for a 3.5 months.

If what you say is true, am I being lied to?

Mine just got bumped to 7/3 now as well, so I think some truth in the TYD dates.
