My GTS departed for Emden 1/19. Estimated 1/27 arival. Baltimore Estimate 2/10 according to TYD. Does that mean it will be on the Composer? (unless they missed the timing and its actually on Confucious?) The TYD was all over the place last week.
I wouldn’t get your hopes up that you’ll get out of Emden that quick. Most have not.
That schedule also doesn’t look totally accurate. My car is on the supreme ace which several marine trackers are saying is going to davisville right now. The schedule does not have davisville listed as a stop. Hope the schedule is right though.
I got to where I did not believe tyd at all while my car sat at Emden. I used tyd to guess at when my car might get picked up. The dates provided seemed to be just aligned to when the next ship heading your way is coming to Emden. Then you check everyday while the ship is in port hoping tyd updates. Then it leaves and you keep checking hoping it is just a delayed update. Then it doesn’t update and the next ship is coming in. Then you start all over. Fun

I'm assuming they added the Davisville stop to the Supreme Ace, but I guess we will see... Making about 300 miles/day of headway, going to be a long couple of weeks!

Well it arrived to Emden today (4 days early). But now the tracker kicked it out another 2-3 weeks. So as you say...I just don't believe TYD. At least I know I have a finished car.
I had thought they might provide a revised schedule and dates for the Sunshine Ace, which was not originally scheduled for Davisville but looks like it is stopping there first.... They did not, But seeing as the Siem Confucius was originally scheduled for Davisville which is now marked as skipped, and that the Sunshine Ace appears to be heading directly for Davisville, it appears that is the case.

Man, that schedule is completely screwed. There is zero chance Supreme Ace makes Houston on 2/2 unless it indeed heads straight there. Considering I just checked it's location this morning and it's still in the middle of the Atlantic. But Marine Tracker does show it's headed for Davisville.....

that's correct... Davisville scheculed on 1/29, I think Houston 'revised' eta is 2/10, but that's from the Porsche tracker vs. PWL. The Supreme Ace schedule above was published 1) before the stop in Davisville was added and 2) before the several day hold in the English Channel presumably due to North Atlantic storm conditions.
I think 2/10 is still optimistic, but at least the car is on the home stretch of the very long journey from idea, getting on list, getting an allocation, getting into production, etc...
I am sitting at Benicia Port as well. I kept bugging my SA for a few times, But he didn't give any info on the current status.
I just found out that I could add the car into "My Porsche" account. And from the website, I can download the Window Sticker and at the top of window sticker, it shows time "Jan 17, 2023".
I assume that's the time of the car gets cleared from customs? Means released from port?
The window sticker should be only available after port released?
The TYD shows the dealer arrival ETA is Jan 20th.
CONS of adding vehicle to my porsche account: it will activate your free porsche connect service immediately which may expire within 3 years, starting when you add the car. However, the car is not delivered yet.
I think the dealer has to activate the Porsche connect once the car lands. My understanding is that it cannot be activated prior. My dealer forgot to activate mine before it was loaded on transport to my home and consequently I cannot pair the car to the Porsche connect ,it has to be done by a dealer. The connect service will commence once it is activated so I am told.
My 992 is sitting in Emden, arrived 2 days ago, now TYD says it will be on a ship tomorrow, 1/27, headed to the west coast of US. Does that mean I'll be on the Glovis Century? Because I notice Century isn't in Emden, it's in Antwerp, and the ship data says it won't be in Emden for a few days.
It's possible.
But it's hard to say what that "date" actually reflects.
My Window Sticker on My Porsche App has a date of 12/24/22 and that's when my car was undergoing port processing.
It came off the Glovis Clipper the day before, Friday, 12/23/22 and I was at the port watching them unload.
The next day was Xmas and on the following Monday my SA received a message saying
"ready for transport" and my car arrived the very next day on Tuesday, 12/27/22
at my East Bay dealership.
