Agreed that Ceramic coating definitely makes it easier to clean

Thank you this is very interesting probably for many people who are considering having the front wrapped so that our cars are protected for ED driving.. but won't have paint correction. A lot of conflicting info out there.. again mine only comes from "beer talk" with some ppf professionals who sort of admitted that you really can't tell once ppf is on. Let us know what you think.

Unless the imperfections on the paint are drastic, you will not see them under PPF. Correction for normal surface imperfections pre PPF is a complete waste.
Ceramic coating on top off PPF is a no brainer. Extra layer of protection and the hydrophobic properties make for much easier detailing of the car.
All reputable PPF installers will tell you this

This is so true. Worst factory paint condition I have ever seen was on my father's 458 spider. I've never seen so many surface swirls on a brand new car in my life, let alone a $300k+ car. They were easy to correct but was still blown away as to how bad it was

That is crazy. I don’t know much about Ferrari but have heard about this paint thing for years. Is it just how it is coming out of the factory or something else?

That was after paint correction from the dealership. Maybe the correction wasnt needed before PPF but damn if I was going to take the chance.

There will be tons of opinions on PPF, paint correction and coatings. I say none or wrong or right, depends on the owner. I’m **** about my cars and honestly I can always find something on paint, and no one can unless you’re a professional in that line of work. My speedster full front and I can’t tell the difference and never paint corrected looks good my point of view. Overtime you will say it’s a car to drive, and all things wear.

Thx, it’s the engine that makes it magic first Speedster with the GT3 engine which is a carry over to the 992 GT3. A blast to drive as you really hear the engine sing.
