Agreed.

Just be honest, you don’t care about driving the car for the love of driving, you just want it for the ‘gram, and you want to spec it in a way that you lose the least amount of money for the duration of the hold.

Using recent history as my guide, demand will to continue to outstrip supply for the entirety of the GT3 production cycle and dealers will continue to play the ADM game.
I was at DTLA in about January 2018, they had a new black winged GT3 in the showroom. I loved the looks of it. It had like zero options on it. SA wanted about $25K over for it. Either way you came out with a win.

I think $10k is reasonable too.. back in the '18 production I was a "WILL NEVER PAY ADM" guy and I never got one. HAHA

Fast forward to now, I was totally willing to pay an ADM, but the dealer made me pay MSRP.. the world is weird.

chance6 and L2 - I think so too. And chance6, you are correct, as per my SA, the standard ADM for a GT3 allocation at DTLA was $25,000. They gave me a repeat customer discount because the Touring was my third 911 transaction in the span of 4 years (C2 cab lease, GTS cab purchase and GT3).

Wow. I definitely empathize for all you guys and gals who are dealing with the GT3 purchase soap opera. The ups, the downs, the twists, the turns. For me, it was a 2-3 year "process," from getting on the waiting list in 2016 (I was about #30 on the list when I first added my name to the list), to delivery of the car in March 2019. I am glad I persevered as the car is everything I dreamed of and more, but it requires an equal degree of patience and dough.

Hahaha…doofus would be generous. Sat down this morning on the can (toilet) for what should have been a solid #2, and decided to peruse Rennlist instead of WSJ or NEJM only to stumble upon this thread…sphincter tightened up with frustration slogging through the OP’s posts…like watching a train-wreck in slo-mo…

Manhattan Motorcars in NYC is asking $75k ADM...seems like 75-100 is common in NYC/NJ area

Just buy it and drive! You'll forget about cost after that!

You can't make this stuff up. In late 2006 I was at a birthday party for a friend. A young lady told me that she had just quit her job as a hairdresser so that she could spend more time investing in houses to flip. I am sure that worked out great. I'll bet she is just waiting to get her GT3 at MSRP + $50K because she knows she can flip it and make another $50K.

The first set of buyers will be the ones that are willing to pay the highest ADMs.
