Shark Blue is VW Cornflower Blue
Not earth shattering info, as manufacturers rebrand colors regularly, but worth a mention.
While I was doing spray-outs of my short list of colors, I discovered Shark Blue is not a new color, but actually a color first offered on the 2019 Rabbit Edition GTI. It was off the pallet in 2020, and back for 2021 as an optional color for all Golfs.
Of course it will look much better branded as Porsche Shark Blue vs. VW Cornflower!

Well, the good news is that only Senior Techs are allowed to build the Shark Blue cars. They practice, and become certified as Senior Techs by practicing on the PTS cars.

For reference, here’s our Cornflower Blue GTI next to our Miami Blue GT4.
Excuse the ugly garage walls.

The two colors are not even close. Miami is straight up teal/aqua, and the Cornflower reminds me more of Mexico Blue.

That's funny, I also have a Cornflower Blue VW GTI has my daily. (Great choice--hah) From the first introductory video, I assumed that Shark Blue was VERY close but I didn't I didn't realize it was the exact same color. I really like the color (obviously) but already decided to go in another direction. Besides, knowing it IS the same, I have a hard time paying that much extra for it. The option is 1/6 the cost of my GTI. From that perspective, it's kind of ridiculous.
