This talk of free market and willing to pay to play is toxic and detrimental to the market place we operate in. If Porsche allows this to go on, the dealers that don't charge ADM will capitulate to the dealers charging ADM. A good number of us will switch brands before paying ADM. Porsche needs to step up and put an end to this price gouging.

porsche doesn’t need to step up. If as you say will happen and a good number of people switch brands, the problem takes care of itself.

Im hearing 20-30 for wing and 40 for touring (separate models). The “sticker” guys are getting raped on their touring trade-ins, which have to happen now. The gt3 market is bananas.
at least where im located

Ferrari put a halt to the practice by limited the allocations to the dealer if they found he was charging ADM on their models. The Porsche dealers will sell all their allocations even with ADM. Many of the buyers are first time PORSCHE buyers. Porsche will sell the same number of cars. It's the dealers that are shortsighted. Ferrari made a decision to protect their clients and brand. Not sure Porsche is willing do that.

Porsche is not willing to do that. I’ve called corporate and asked. To them this business of charging adm is perfectly fine by them.

People need to realize this.

GT cars and allowing dealers to charge ADM is a way for PCNA/PAG to backdoor trunk money to dealers.

Dealers get $$$ from corporate without having that additional outlay show up up on the corporate books. Profits increase for PAG, without any real outlay or costs showing up on the corporate books.

Shareholders win, and Porsche wins. Win win. Win!

^^^^^^^^yup.

And THAT is why your hard-fought loyalty isn't worth anything. Hopefully I don't come off as negative, just a realist.

The Answer is pretty unequivocal.
That's not automatically true. I know personally several GT3 prospectives who have gotten and will continue to get GT cars at MSRP due to being repeat clients; their loyalty has been respected as they've been promised 992 GT3s at MSRP. There ARE dealers who do value their clients and just because the squeaky wheels on this forum complain about ADMs routinely doesn't mean a population of MSRP GT3s aren't sold by well-intentioned dealers.

Would you say the dealers who don't charge existing customers ADM are the minority or the majority around the country? I'd say Rennlist is pretty representative ... check monitoring the posts and see what people experience.

My understanding was that the cars are actually orderable today. Configurator goes live to the public on March 31st. I guess that means that the dealerships have access to the configurator.

That’s because there is no supply/demand discrepancy with Lambos like there is with the GT3. There is no list of people who want a Huracan who can’t get one. Same goes for Mclarens.

That said, enjoy the ride! 😉😎

I don’t understand your logic. PAG doesn’t get a dime from the dealer when the dealer charges ADM. PAG makes their profit from the sale of the car to the dealer. Dealers are independent entities and their P&L are not tied to Porsche P&L.

Sure but PAG needs dealerships to stay in business and be profitable too. This helps everyone (except us as the buyer)

Porsche has been reducing the number of dealerships.
