Sport Cup 2R: there's 90% of your big lap time improvement over the 991.2

Nose is funny looking. I thought the new GT3 would make me like the 992. I guess I'll have to see it in person.

One thing Porsche needs to have on those loud track cars is a silent mode for low volume tracks. I was kind of hoping these new GT3s would have something like that. These cars are seriously loud and get black flagged half the time on my local track.

Steering wheel has buttons/distractions, a departure from GT practice.

black flag in stock form? OPF will make this one quieter if it compares to it's impacts on my 718 Spyder.

There's a mode on PIWIS 3 that turns off the buttons on "spirited" (track mode?) drive. It may be available on this one.

Forgot about the OPF, guess we'll see. My 718 GT4 is LOUD and doesn't get flagged whereas 981 GT4s get flagged all the time here. Supposedly there is a lining inside the exhaust that wears away after a few years making the car louder. Still, a quiet option like you see on some American performance cars would not be very hard for Porsche to implement if they wanted to.

Don't have the issue on my local track, blast away with Akra link pipes and slip on race exhaust. Probably because the track is in the country. There's a track in Tremblant that has noise issues.

Probably has the usual exhaust button but a further quieter mode would be good, I had a GT350 that did that well. Though you can't restrict exhaust flow at certain engine speeds, otherwise could damage the engine.

Check out Akra silencers if you haven't. Basically a turn down cap for the tip.
