.2 RS guy runs Cup 2 R as well. 992 RS driver races Porsche Cups, GT3.
Good look at the relative "straight line" performance 3:50-4:20. Impressive from the .2 in light of only having a 4.0, er...
992 RS was checking out post-carousel, mid to high speed technical sector.

Has anyone tallied lap times for the 992 3RS at various tracks, to compare with 992 GT3, 991.2 3RS, 991.2 2RS, and 4RS?

With equal tires and good drivers, I believe the 992 will be a bit faster at pretty much every track - as it should be! But not a lot faster, unless the track is mostly fast corners and short straights.

Hot air update - at high speed not nearly as much of an issue. Really noticeable at 30-50. Took it to 100+ this morn and was good to go. Above 70 it cleans up pretty well. Track speeds should be totally ok. At traffic lights you can actually see the heat coming out of the front of the car.
Reinstalled the side graphics after PPF. Went with a slightly different design that extends the vinyl to the front and rear bumpers. I love the way it came out.
Was on vacation but got back last night and went for an early morning jaunt on some local remote mountain roads. The car is SO planted and composed. Rip a fast corner and just shake your head in disbelief. It is an unbelievable car. I had very high expectations but they have been blown out of the water. Anyone getting one of these is so very very fortunate.

Honestly there’s not a single thing I can find so far that I don’t like. Not even a nit picky one. It is more fun on the road than my 992 GT3 PDK. Mainly because it truly feels like you are driving a racecar on normal roads. I have had manual and PDK 991.2 GT3, 991 and 991.1 and 991.2 RS and had a 991 GT2 RS as well. This one makes me shake my head in disbelief more than all the others. (The 2RS is close maybe just because of the raw power). The ride comfort is fantastic. Way better than I expected. It’s also just an interesting machine to look at. Every little detail has been sweated over.
It is a cop magnet, especially in guards. The thumbs up and smiles from other cars are awesome.
Still starting to explore it and break it in at least some what reasonably so I’m sure I’ll have more impressions after a track day or a weekend in the Smokies.

Btw side graphics (gt3 rs) came in black or gray? On Porsche configurator it looks grayish.

No affiliation. Found them after a lot searching and refusing to pay dealer price.
awesome quality and it arrived from overseas in a week. $126
comes with a new rear emblem, rs logos for the sides Of the wing and PORSCHE logo for the wing. Also comes with a squeegee. A lot of stuff I didn’t need but can’t beat the price!
