what will do the PASM steeringwheel button?
damper switch still there at the middle.
aero settings made through menu touchscreen.
PTV steeringwheel button - will be this the first RS with PTV or?

All GT cars have had PTV for years, but this is the first implementation where the driver can adjust the locking properties.

I remember some years ago, I think there was a presentation of 997 4.0 car or was it 991.1 RS. When some journalist asked from AP , why there are no "buttons on the GT3 RS steering wheel"
Mr.Preuninger said that this is an RS - a car for driving, not for pushing buttons on the steering wheel...

Yes, it would be nice if the car controlled these functions in the background, but I like the degree of adjustability for different tracks (and maybe even a particular corner on the same track).

I'm really really curious what the settings are? how the functionality maps to legacy "functions" - and what "new" settings are available - DRS sounds fun...for example...
but how are they "mapping" the four wheels to which software settings - I can't wait to play with one of these things

That's the argument I would make about the 991 gen, but I don't see that happening with the 992 RS. The 992 RS is a much more radical change in the 992 gen than the 991RS vs 991 GT3 models, I don't see basic mods making up for the difference despite having greater straight line speed. The mechanical grip with the extra tire plus the aero and adjustability with the diff/TC and aero will make a huge difference with an equally competent driver.
Don't get me wrong, we'll have fun with the some of the new fat cat 992 RS owners dipping their toes in the advanced groups, but I bet this thing on race tire and a good driver is going to be untouchable unless you're in a Cup or proper GT3 race car.
