If the wing is removable that would be the cat's pajamas I like this rear so much more than the bacon strip 992 carrera design, which the touring is most likely to get. However, the ability to do clear tail lights mitigates the carrera brake light issue a little. I just hope they do the 6mt and give a real shifter to the PDK.

Wherever you go on here it's a debate over LWB and all else. Just wandered over here and another seat debate. Probably even in the Panamera section even though you can't get LWB on a panny.

Who cares. I may get a 992 Touring and it will have LWB. Guess that means i don't know what a "real" Touring is.

Love that it has a GT3 badge that is then taped over. If the intent is to disguise the car why not leave the badge off completely?

I’ll keep the buckets in my R and order the new GT3 with custom leather outfit; I mean if you can do it, why not

Porsche should consider giving the GT3 Touring a different design of the rear spoiler to differentiate it from the other Carreras. Also, will the Touring has rear seats this time (at least allow it as an option)?

Its basically a race car. Don’t want to get too comfy. And the stock wing is so large they probably just left it alone, lol. Plenty of downforce even for a GT class car.

It would have been cool if the touring had the small duckbill that is on the regular Gt3, just without the spoiler...

...now the real question... can the spoiler and uprights be removed from the 992 GT3 similarly to how they can be removed from the 991 GT3RS. Because they look like they could on this one and that would look badass... someone photoshop please?

EDIT: i photoshopped it masterfully myself.

I wonder how the engine cover will open (i.e., how much) given the placement of the uprights. They can’t be mounted to the chassis itself because the engine cover couldn’t open.

The uprights also seem to be mounted to the back of the wing on at least one mule, but not on the pictured car (looks like it’s done in two places, not one continuous piece).
