Question 992 Euro Delivery

I was supposed to take delivery of a manual 992 S Cab in Leipzig this Tuesday, April 28. However, with the factory closed due to Covid-19 the trip had to be cancelled. Who knows when things will be back to normal. Porsche offered us delivery at PECLA sometime in July/Aug, but that is not what we signed up for. So we are asking to postpone to spring 2021 and I'm considering changing the order to a 992 GT3 Touring with 6spd....when its officially available to order of course. What are your thoughts? I had negotiated some savings on the 992 S Cab since it counts as an extra allocation for the dealer. However, I'm assuming the rare nature of the GT3 will make that unrealistic. Anyone have experience with Euro Delivery on GT3's?

They're just very different cars. I’m continuously amazed though, just how accessible the GT3 is, price-wise. It seems like like it should be a far more costly machine. Not complaining
I too am waiting to order, so no experience yet; but I will be in that part of the world to have a sit down with Exclusive Manufaktur. The car will be all business.

Seems odd that the recording is from October of 2018, and the videographer is just now releasing it.

I so hope these rumors are true. I’ve got a newborn and a 2.5 year old boys. If they offer a 2+2 it’s a no brainer for me. Porsche please take my money!

If there aren’t any back seats I might just stick with the GT4 and call it a day.

Same here, except kids are a bit older. I am wondering if rear seats will also mean no bucket fronts or if there will be a folding bucket option. Any info on that?

More vids of winged GT3. The wing is much larger than previous generations.
Sounds great!

Buy winged, remove uprights which now look screwed in a-la RS... and you end up with a duckbill touring. Perfection.

That is a great idea, but 2+2 was rumored to be Touring only?

Damn it... I knew I had missed a key attribute.
