Why is RWS a requirement? Tracking?

 

Just something that I want for the roads we have here in the mountains and foothills. Can't be added later, so it's on the short list of options.

 

Well I’m a mess. Just looked at color samples again out in the sun and the Miami Blue really got my attention. What a tough decision!!!

 

well the PASM-S is probably the better choice if you plan to track the car at all;
I'll cause some controversy if I say "dont waste your money on PDCC" to me
at least it makes sense on an SUV to reduce roll, but unless you are coming
from a Lincoln town car I would stay away from PDCC entirely... esp if you
later fit a TPC-R DSC in place of the OEM PASM controller.



at least drive a car with/without PDCC before you waste your money

if you don't think your cab rolls like an old ferry in rough seas thru corners, then you dont need PDCC...

 

DO IT! I tell you, I love my Mexico Blue GT3, you just dont tire of these colors or cars ... but either way you cant go wrong with either MB or CR...

The addition of the RWS to the 991.1GT3 really improved its speed thru corners, so yes, I'd say if you were planning on tracking your car, or you were a very
aggressive "twisties" driver, RWS would be a plus... it effectively increases the
wheelbase thru the corners

 

Fwiw, given your interests and inputs (and this said as someone who ordered a Guards Red GT4 and thought hard about Carmine), I'd recommend Miami Blue. Carmine is a lovely color, but you'll spend the same $3k and end up with another "red 911"—no matter how good the red is—and there are a lot of those. If you want value with pop, Miami is a great call.

I haven't looked through this whole thread, but this set of pics sold me on Miami on the 991.2...it just works on the car's shapes and makes the latest Carrera look very, very special.

That just might happen. It is a super color selection, I’m looking for bold, and bold it is.

What interior, besides black, would be a good choice for interior color? If black, any input on seat belt color and/or deviated stitching? Or is black throughout the interior the best with MB?

if you get PCCB then yellow belts and any dev stitching you like ...

I would also strongly encourage you to think about doing the painted interior
to match exterior color ... its UNIQUE!

 

Leather to Sample in a blue leather would be stunning (midnight would be great as it is very dark -- not currently on the LTS list I have, I think the standard graphite blue might be too grey for Miami, I would have to see it), but to me I would go black interior. Bold color outside, more subdued inside. Maybe some blue coco mats and deviated stitching in a light color like GT silver or pebble grey to spice it up and maybe silver belts. Then black wheels.

 

I am now sold on Miami Blue, and I really appreciate all of the valuable input offered by so many. Stopped by the dealer again today and the SA and I built a car as follows. I think it will be sharp, opinions welcome:

btw you might think about clear tail lights also ... really works well with a color like this ... take the "RED" out of the rear.
