Just an update - we will have Sport Catalytic Converters and Cat Bypass Pipes available for non-PSE applications at the end of the month.

Im happy to take pictures/video of the installation and the sound of the car both static, driving and on the race track. Im also happy to write up a full review for Rennlist....

Ideally Id like to get this fitted to my car for two track days mid May...

It's tough to improve on the 991.2 Carrera PSE exhaust - it's very well designed and the weight of it is partially due to sound absorbing materials which fights droning. Shedding weight with an aftermarket system will cost you some of the refinement but you'll get more aggression. A nice set of forged wheels could help in the weight loss department.

Here's a freshly fabbed set of Cat Bypass Pipes on our shipping scale and they come in at 7.9-8 lbs when weighed. The factory pipes weigh 16 lbs.

What part of Texas are you in? Any issues at inspection time with the bypass pipes?

Thanks to Mike at Soul I hope to have a set of these on my car in the next 3-4 weeks and will do a full write up, photos, video and review based dedicated thread. I think these will be the perfect solution for those of use with non PSE base cars wanting a bit more sound from the system and with the likely benefit of better throttle response and probably a smidgen more power. Ill be reviewing these on the road and a week or so later on a couple of full track days. Will get interior and exterior sound files etc. Stout, Nick Murray and others may well be interested in these...

Now that the season is upon us - We also have a demo unit of our Trackback Turbo Back Exhaust for PSE equipped cars that we will make available to anyone who can get us footage of it being used on the track. Drop the factory exhaust in one piece and bolt this in quickly. Sheds 27 lbs as well. Any takers?

Is the PSE version valved?

No. The idea is that it's a light weight, simple straight through one piece design for track or extreme street use. You can drop the entire PSE exhaust in one piece and put this on for track days.
