How much louder would you say it is? Do you feel it is aggressive enough now?

Now that I have driven my 2018 GTS post Soul cat install more let me give a more full review. First I wanted a more aggressive note but not obnoxious - basically closer to a stock 991.1 understanding that there would be "turbo" notes. That is exactly what I got. The Soul cats on the stock muffler sound perfect for me with the added benefit of more HP, no "smell" and less weight.
The Soul cats are obviously precision made and have a beautiful finish on them are arrived timely and packed super well.
More on the install. I would characterize my mechanical skills as good but I don't really work on cars at all so my tool kit sucks. So I needed to buy some ratchet swivels, torx heads etc. Not Souls issue - purely mine. But hey I got some tools for free vs paying an installer net net so its all good. The install went fine except two minor things. On the 2018 GTS there is a bracket that needs to be removed on the back side of the bumper in order for there to be clearance from the exhaust system to slide out off of the Turbos. I figured this out and it came out easy enough. Additionally, once I got the exhaust off and the original cats off the muffler it I couldn't get the Soul cats on the muffler because the factory brackets had slightly crushed the muffler pipes. This was easily remedied by taking the muffler to a muffler shop and I had them expand the pipes a bit which they did for free. All I lost was an hour. Everything went back together easily, straight and without fuss from there. The other thing I would recommend is to take photos of the muffler brackets so you have a record of their exact position so when your re install they go back with the exact same position/geometry.
The above mentioned very minor complications concerned the Soul guys so much that they called and were only above and beyond on how they could be supportive which was funny to me because none of it was really a big deal especially since this was the first time I had ever worked on any Porsche ever.... Obviously they make a first class product and their customer service is terrific. All in all I would highly recommend the product and given 4-6 hours on a Saturday anyone can do this themselves. The key is to take your time and be methodical.
Great questions! The stock cats use a much higher CPI (cells per inch) catalytic converter. While most sport cats are 200 cells, the stock cats are in the order of 600+ in most cases. That translates into a catalytic converter with a much larger surface area to handle the emissions of the combustion process making the catalytic converter more durable over a longer period of time, after all there is an 8 year warranty on factory supplied emissions equipment.
The downside of that is the greatly reduced flow and muffled sound. The 200 cell Sport Cats are a great alternative that remain emissions compliant while freeing up some great sound and power. Some owners may experience Sport Cat failure after a multitude of hard track driving due to the inability of the relatively small surface area of the 200 cell catalytic converter to handle the much higher temperatures and emissions.

I think you have this exactly backwards. The 200-cell cats with their reduced surface area--and potentially larger cell wall thickness, pick up LESS heat than the 600-cell cats do. Therefore, they should be MORE durable.
At the same time, because they have less surface area, they heat up more slowly and take longer to achieve the operating temperature of the catalytic material, which increases cold-start emissions, which are a large percentage of the overall emissions in the test.

I may be fooling myself, but the install looks like it would be straight forward since everything is so readily visible/accessible right there under the car. I'm assuming you got the rear end up high enough for the install and didn't need to remove the bumper?

I will try to do that but think there are many on youtube already. Yes pretty straight forward and yes got the rear end up. Bumper removal isn't necessary but I did as I was putting in a B&W air filter also which requires bumper removal and spoiler assembly removal. It's real easy though and only takes about 1/2 hour for both - now that I know what I am doing.

On Saturday I also changed the oil and filter since I had the spoiler assembly off even though I have only 950 miles on the car. Probably not necessary but I was in there so I got it done. "I changed my break in oil" OK OK I'm not trying to start something up! Heck it couldn't hurt even though likely not really necessary. The filter torque is 25lbs or something like that maybe 26.2 lbs - can't exactly recall but I looked it up on Rennlist.
So I changed out my cats, installed a B&W air filter and changed the oil/filter and figured it out as I went so I was moving slow. Plus I was being super careful about everything. If you have a great set of tools and any experience you would be far quicker than I was.

I plan on pairing these with an Akrapovic slip on. I will be sure to take some video afterward. Hopefully, the sound will be at least as good as what I've heard with these cats and the stock muffler. I feel like I took a pretty big leap (buying the muffler), since videos usually don't do justice to the sound of an aftermarket exhaust.
