Absolutely! A second set of hands or transmission jack is recommended as you remove the entire exhaust in one piece. See our install guide here.

The install process looks very straight forward. Looking at the install guide, can the cats be removed without removing the center muffler? It looks like without the heat seat and just loosening the center muffler it can be done. These cats are going to be my next mod, but planning to wait til after the Holidays to purchase with all my funds tied up on Holiday gifts.

There is a stud on either turbo which combined with the need to slide the cats into the center muffler can make installation as you mentioned difficult but you can certainly do it.

Dropping the center muffler is very easy. I dont think you could get the cats off the muffler without dropping it ( not much space outside of the cats and you need about 2 inches of space due to overlap of the pipes.)

The hardest part is the first step, getting the heat shields off. Getting to the top bolts are hard. I started this myself laying on my back under the car and decided to take it into a shop with a lift.

Does sound great on my GTS though....

I tried twice before and did the same thing, taking it to a shop for some work done that required the turbos' heat shields to come off. The big revelation I had this time around when installing my Akrapovic slip-on was to remove the wheels. I was able to do it myself this time!

Just went out and jacked up my car and took a wheel off. Your right, it would have helped with at least one of the top bolts. Will have to remember that.

We have a prototype Trackback Turbo Back Exhaust which has ripples in the bends from initial setup, otherwise it's fully functional. We'd like to make it available for free (just cover shipping) to anyone who intends to use it at a track event and get us video. Contact us if you are interested!

We also have plenty of Cat Bypass Pipes and Sport Catalytic Converters ready to ship! Shoot us a message to chat if you have any questions or need Rennlist pricing!

Finally got around to installing the exhaust tips, and I think it looks great. The only thing to have made it perfect (IMO) is if it came in black. However, it wasn’t a deal breaker at all since the customer service that SOUL provides is second to none, and the product is great quality.

Before and after shots - I got the 4 inch, single wall, slash cut (for reference):

Soul- Have you put any thought into taking the trackback design and adding 200 cell sport cats? This would be interesting if it is possible.

Absolutely - we're for it. Ideally we'd need a car in house to test / verify no check engine light / get media of / fixture/ and possibly tune - that's an open invitation!
