I know Soul took a bunch of videos and will be posting in the next day or two. They have much better video equipment than I do (iPhone LOL!)
I know they're on it.

Did you change the lower (black plastic) rear panel that fits into the bumper to use the center exit exhausts?

I have the base exhaust with no PSE and you're absolutely right that it sounds pathetic. I have the side exit setup (quad tips).

I had a chance to chat with John a fair bit, he really knows his stuff!

I didn't change the lower valance. It's the stock piece for the factory PSE.
I believe you can change to sport cats and the PSE muffler and purchase the factory PSE rear valance and you're all set to change. The rear valance just snaps into the exact same place that your non-PSE does, so it's an easy swap.

John is great! A true enthusiast who knows his stuff.

Ah, right, I missed that you had factory PSE already.

I'm looking into what it takes to add it. First being the button panel (which comes as a kit of 'all' button options). Second is the wiring from under the seat. Lastly is a valve that connects back in the engine compartment (along with tubing, brackets, etc). I kind of like the quad tips setup, so I'm unsure about making the change to the center style.

Thanks for posting your observations on how it sounds.

We certainly can! Start up, valves closed revving and then opening the valves in Sport mode with plenty of pops and burbles.

Sounds great! Can definitely hear the benefits of a proper X-pipe for the sound.

Really curious to hear the non-valved version. Gotta imagine it's pretty raw! 🤤😍

With the valves open sounds very much like the Trackback.

Curious how loud the cold start is?

Video went up on our Instagram page yesterday, I'll try to share it in here! But even with headers + Sport Cats on Rob's car, it's still PLENTY reasonable for road use. The x-pipe's drone tubes do magic below 2500 RPM, and even in Sport mode with the pops and burbles it won't make your ears bleed--it'll just make you giggle a bit!

Did they have a 991.1 version of muffler before?

Currently my 991.2 has PSE and soul cat deletes. Id love to hear a comparison from that to the new Valved Soul system.

In normal/quiet mode does it still go very quiet like the OEM PSE Muffler?

I love how my PSE + soul cat bypass sound. But Id like a little more in sport/sport+ but still retain the quiet mode

Here's a great video of a GTS with the factory PSE muffler, SOUL Cat Bypass Pipes, and SOUL Sport Headers:

Default late to the party..

Just had installed 991.2 PSE Sharkwerks exhaust. Yep, it's all you've heard. My 18 911T sounded great w/Factory Sport exhaust.. but this Sharkwerks is pretty nice. Spoke w/Adam @ SW - he reassured and convinced me . A little over a week later OEM Muffler is out and this beauty is in .

Few initial impressions:

-You can feel it , in the seats
- Cold start sound is markedly improved
- STD , non sport sounds Amazing- IMO a huge improvement
- Sport Exhaust is just about perfect - not too ludicrous, but way enhanced from OEM
-Cant really detect the HP increase .

My smiles just got larger - Thank you Sharkwerks

Any droning?

So it retains the PSE flaps?
