Come on man, if that's what you need to decide on buying headers or not, you're better off finding a local with the setup you want and going for a ride along because let's be real, nothing else will meet your expectations.
I just got a set from @Soul Performance and I'm very happy with them. The sound change was subtle, I was not expecting otherwise, the car sounds cleaner through the rev range, more exotic, and more so inside the cabin than out based on my goPro recordings which I'll post up.
I'm happy, specially since DB limits are something I have to be mindful of for different tracks. John and I spoke plenty on it, and while I'll probably do the cats next year, the headers on their own did a good job to satiate the want for better (subjective) sound.
You going to buy him dinner before or after doing him like that??

I would add, you cannot overcome the limiting factors of the recording device and your speakers. Those won’t accurately convey the sound the car makes in person.
Perspective? Sure. But no more.
In my opinion Soul's sound vids have always done a good job at portraying a comparison, above industry standard. There is no substitute for finding a local bud or PCA group, event, auto-x, etc. and actually listening in-person.

To be fair, I asked!
Thank you!
We're looking forward to improving the quality of our videos even further. We were just out practicing chasing cars with our Mavic 2 and are investing in more gear. We're also always happy to incentivize people to help us get content - not only for education but for entertainment.

That would be awesome, but there's no recording equipment or speakers that can mimic how your ears and brain hear it in real-life.

Yep, and I gave the exhaustive list
Really the only important thing is keeping the microphone gain identical between before/after shots. That way the viewer can at least get a sense of the difference -- as mentioned, normal recording equipment and speakers are notoriously bad at properly representing exhaust tone.

To start, a few photos! The black tips on this GTS were a bit discolored and faded so we built custom 3.5" titanium tips to help the car stand out and shed a little over 1 lb of weight - woo!
