Update. I had my sport cats installed on my C4S/x51. PSE now sounds awesome. For me the stock PSE was a must when purchasing a 911. While stock PSE is going to be loud enough for most people (and it is a loud exhaust), I found it a bit lacking. I wanted an exhaust with not only more volume but more character. Plenty of after market exhausts make cars louder, but they sound like crap in the process. I had some hesitation because by most accounts the PSE is pretty good. I was concerned about messing with a good thing. I watched a ton of videos of high flow cats on youtube. The videos generally get the sound right but they don't do it justice. It sounds much better in person. There are more nuances and subtle sounds that I can hear now that make the car that much more fun to drive. It keeps the OE exhaust character but turns up the volume a few notches. The sounds of the turbines are much more present now (which I think is cool). It could be placebo but the throttle response feels more immediate. There is no droning. You can always turn the PSE button off and it sounds like stock. No CEL. No smells. My local porsche dealer was totally cool about installing it. Soul customer service is outstanding. I am extremely happy with it.

Cheers! Glad to hear you are happy!

Here are a few pics I took in the shop today as our fabricator, George, finished up a set of Sport Cats:

How’s the X-Pipe active muffler to replace the PSE box coming along?

I’ve had your cats on the car for about a month now and I totally love them. I just wish I had an option to go one step further. 👍

keep up the good work.

Thank you! We'd be interested in getting our hands on a factory PSE exhaust with permission to dissect it to study the inner workings a bit better. We'd be interested to see if we can alter it / hack it to improve the positive aspects of the sound without increasing drone. Alternatively, when our R&D schedule clears up we can look into a solution, but right now we're working on 997.2 Carrera with 718 GT4 and 992 Carrera ahead.

Installed soul sport cats on PSE about a month ago
Put it back on the lift yesterday and noticed that I had a little soot where the cats connect with the PSE.
I'm thinking I have a leak?
Will snap an actual picture this evening or tomorrow, but its a little black, about the size of a quarter, where I've put the red circles. Both sides.
Anyone else have this?
Again will get real photos up in a bit-
Thanks

That's not a problem and is common on many exhausts. The piping expands when it heats up to seal it better. It won't affect your sound or performance at all unless it's a copious amount - but you'd probably hear the exhaust leak if it were a true leak or loose clamp. If you're concerned you can retorque the clamps down.
