the Paris Accord was designed to redistribute wealth, not to improve the environment. It was a total BS joke that liberal people felt great about. Amazing how the act of leaving it was supposed to doom the earth and everyone on it to certain death in our lifetimes a few weeks ago, and now Russian collusion matters more. No one in the media even really believes this BS.

whether you like it or not, it's a political topic. The cars are not being held back due to defects, they are held arbitrarily by the power of bureaucrats. This entire thread belongs in the Politics and Controversy section.

I broke the guidelines myself with the "shut up" post so, mea culpa. But all the posts about what one political side or the other thinks/believes are most unwelcome.

I believe we can discuss the facts of the matter - the EPA holding the cars as possible fallout from the VW scandal - without opining about how "dumb XXX party" thinks.

I'm sorry too guys. When I chimed in after reading the other responses I thought I was actually in the Off Topic/Politics section as I frequent that a lot. Didn't realize I was in the 991 section at the time. I hope you guys get your cars soon. I have a 2018 Macan S showing up this next week to go along with my 991.2. I'm hoping no issues with that, but doesn't sound like it.

Regardless of what political or social belief we have. We all share a love for porsches. And regardless of which side of that debate anyone falls on, they would be pretty upset about delays on their car. Especially when it's made and ready to come home.

So short of a Hollywood-worthy movie plot to go and steal our cars from the port, all we can do is share info as we get it.

funny, when I get the sneer from the Prius drivers at the stoplight, I stick my tongue at them and stomp on the gas when it turns green. I like how they save that gas for the rest of us.

A lot of us are neither liberals nor conservatives and just tired of hearing the back and forth from the 10% most extreme on each side of the spectrum who are they ones most likely to talk about their political views.
