Mine is a 2018 C4. Perhaps only the base engine got certified so far? I'm not sure. My car is being shipped to Porsche of the Mainline in PA. I just got the email from PCNA about two hours ago so I'm not sure if dealers know that this model variant has been certified yet. I'm also not sure if states independently certify each variant or if all the 911 variants like mine have been certified in the entire US. The only thing I know is what PCNA just told me quoted in a few posts above. My 911 C4 is now certified for CARB in my state. Wheeeew. I hope for the best for the other guys waiting in the forum.

I did European Delivery so the PCNA European Delivery Team has been communicating with me routinely on the status of my car. They have been very responsive and are great to work with.

I called PCNA this morning, i'm not in a CARB state. They just said that the 2018 Macan's are not certified yet, and that they are expecting that to happen soon. They also do expect the EPA certification prior to the CARB one. but beyond that, all they could say was they are sorry. We turned in our SUV to Porsche on trade in for the new car several weeks back in anticipation of this one being here. so its been rough for us down a vehicle with the delay.

I wish the rest of PCNA was as responsive as the European Delivery team. I have not gotten a letter or an email and have to chase them for information.

We just received confirmation from PCNA that MY18 Porsche 718s & 911s have received CARB approval and SOLD orders will begin to ship this week. I will keep you posted!

Great news everyone. Looks the EOs were signed. Just got a reply for Mr. McDuffee at CARB who is responsible for posting the approvals.

"Hello Mr. W,
The signed EOs were on my desk when I got in today. They should be posted soon.
Best regards, Bill McDuffee"

All, I just got an email directly from the California Air Resource Board (CARB), and he says the Executive Orders were signed this morning, and should be posted soon.

That's great! Now PCNA just has to figure out how to get all those cars off the dock and out to dealers. I wonder how big the backlog is.

I think they first have to wait for the annual seagull migrations to finish at Davisville and San Diego?

I heard the same via email from my dealer, this morning. Ironic in that I was told by my dealer (Auto Gallery, Woodland Hills, CA) and another dealer yesterday that this would not be cleared up until the end of September. I suspect there was a lot of backroom dealing going on. My information is that the 991 and 982 (Boxster) have been approved and will ship as soon as they clear PDI and customs.

Here is the CARB website listing Executive Orders for Passenger Cars: https://www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/onroad.../2018/2018.php

It has not been updated since August 4 so, something is going on there. The order approving the 2018 991's should show up on this page.

Probably people that have been waiting the longest will have to wait longer since it looks like that they are all blocked by the newer arrivals in the lot.
